He watched her focus on that beat again. Drip, drip, splat, drip drip, splash splat drip. Ash was just about to move, his hand ready to prop him back up, when the soft pat of Hrukjan's feet in the distance made his head tilt toward the tunnel opening. As the giant wolf got closer the continuous beat of her paws on the ground got louder and louder until one could say they heard a heard of horses galloping toward them. When she appeared she had a trunk in her muzzle and laid it at Ash's feet before going to lay her body around Victoire's. Ash ripped the top off the trunk and threw it across the room where it probably landed somewhere near her disregarded shirt. Inside the trunk were some of her cloths, taken from her dormitory, and medical supplies along with Ash's wand. Pulling out some of the bandages and things, along with his wand, Ash turned to her again. He ran his claws against her bra and snapped it open, pulling it from her flesh and throwing it across the room also as if it were trash, which it was now. Soon after he pulled out a container from the trunk, put it against a cloth from his pocket, and pressed it to her collarbone. The stinging pain made her jump and he had to hold her down to the salve could heal the bone fragment. They were lucky it wasn't too deep. Once she calmed down, either passed out from the pain or just tolerant of it, Ash pulled his wand and lifted her up. Sneering at the fact that he had to let her head fall to his shoulder, he magically had the bandages wrap themselves around her body, her breast and shoulder, until it was perfectly snug. Then he packed up the supplies and stood up, walking out of the room and leaving her with Hrukjan.

Victoire didn't know what to do. She just watched his hands, brows furrowed. Foolishly all Victoire could think when he ruined her bra was that was my favorite bra... but her thought was interrupted by the immense pain he had to fight her to endure. For the first time she winced and tried to get away from him, the healing of the bone hurting more than it did when he had sliced it. He was unfortunately much stronger than she, and Victoire was forced to tightly close her eyes. Soon she simply fell limp, not unconscious. The strong feeling of hot needles ripping through her repeatedly had made her light headed. She seemed to be holding her breath, but she hated him for it. She had never felt more pain than in the past forty eight hours. It wasn't sure whether she simply didn't notice him leave or the fact that she was near passed out, breathing slowly, a little shakenly. At first she hadn't noticed Hrukjan either, not thinking about anything but the pain... the bold ache that seemed to pulse in harmony with the slow rhythm still echoing in the room. Victoire focused on the beat, her head tilting to the side opposite the door as her the very same hand closest to the door came to rest carefully on her stomach. The other hand was laying in front of her face on the bed beside her, closed mostly, but relaxed and laying a little open.

Ash returned a few minutes later with a fur blanket. Covering her in it, he quickly left again and then left the cave completely. He was still ravaged from the transformation and since Hrukjan was babysitting he was set to hunt alone. Jumping off the side of the cliff that lined the door of his den, Ash landed in a tree and broke the branch. He picked up the massive thing and started hunting out some food. When hunting he hated using magic, there was no point in it. All that proved was that you were weak enough you had to hide behind your behind magic to survive. He didn't.
It wasn't until about five hours alter that Ash finally returned to the den, mid afternoon slowly dipping into night, with three deers on his shoulder. He climbed the cliff's face back to his den and dragged the captured meet into the cave where he had been chained the night before. Pulling out a knife, he started to skin the beasts.

Victoire simply lay there for a while, not even turning to him when he covered her. She just didn't want to move. What in the world is that stuff? she asked Hrukjan, referring to that horrible liquid that was so graciously healing her. She didn't look up, she remembered the large wolf was still there. Victoire sighed a little, and soon slipped into sleep, a little heavier then before. She didn't wake when Ash returned to the cave; having missed much rest she was sleeping much too deeply, her body showing a small sign she was still alive. She did not move when she slept unless moved, and her cehst and stomach only raised slightly in her small form, showing her small slowly breaths as she slept soundlessly there, laying as she had when he covered her.

It's a salve that will heal your bones...he's good with potions but not with easy healing so this is the best we could do for you. The wolf thought as she watched over the veela. When the girl fell asleep, deeply at last, Hrukjan laid her head down on her paws again and let her tail rap against the floor in a slow beat like music to sooth her.
Ash was in the other cave, connected to the same tunnel, and his hands were covered in the blood of the first deer. It was nearly completely skinned by now and it's innards were already out and in a bucket beside him. Finally snapping off the head and putting it in the bucket as well, Ash started to divide the meet into the best and worst pieces, knowing which to save for later and which had to be eaten quickly. He soon moved onto the next deer and did the same. When the third deer was done he brought the bucket to the kitchen, keeping it in the corner, and then brought the meet to be smoked and salted by the fire pit that laid in the center of the room. He lived a very primitive life here but he didn't mind it.

Victoire finally awoke, her collarbone, shoulder and chest now aching but not as bad as before by any means. She sat up and looked to the trunk. If she remembered correctly some of her clothes were seen in there. She stood slowly from where she lay, her soft footsteps barely making a sound as she moved gracefully to it. She pulled out a shirt, unfortunately a shirt that hugged her snugly, but not tightly, making certain areas pop. She gave Hrukjan a look, wondering if she picked out her clothing and if she did shame on you she thought as she turned back to the shirt in her hand. She hadn't bought this shirt... her mother had bought this shirt, along with most of the clothes in there. Victoire liked clothes that looked nice, but she wasnt one to flaunt anything. Now she felt she was being forced to, but she sighed, giving in. She knew there wasn't much she could do at the moment and so she pulled the very pretty shirt over her head, tugging her waving hair from under it. She sighed to herself and finally walked out of the room slowly, looking this way and that. She wasn't quite sure where she was going, but she picked a direction and hoped it was the right one.

Ash had salted all the meet, laying the best farthest from the fire and the worse nearest, and was now sitting across the room watching it. His head was on the wall, one leg cocked up and his arm limply hanging across it. He closed his eyes after a while and just listened to the echoes of his own breathing in the room. It wasn't until he heard the soft patter from the tunnel that he opened his eyes again. Soon after she walked in and he traced her body with his eyes before closing them again. He didn't notice her clothing, nor the way she looked at him. He was trying to relax before his body started to ache again.

Victoire entered the room with little sound other than her feet. She saw what he'd been busy doing first, her eyes on everything laid out. She knew she was going to have to chain him to the wall again, but she tried not to think about it. They still had some time before the moon was out yet. Her eyes then fell upon him, and her lids drooped a little. She blinked slowly, a slight sadness visible. However she straightened quickly and her normal kind gaze was back. She had two more nights of this... tonight and tomorrow and then she'd be on her way back to Hogwarts... Her eyes met his closed lids and she sighed on the inside. What was she doing? Was this stupidity, was he right? Should she even be here? Victoire wouldn't let her thoughts stop her, but she felt maybe she was being a little selfish; coming back for abuse and making him upset or angry because of it. Her eyes went back to the fire, where they remained for a moment. When she spoke, she still watched the first, her hands were in front of her, gracefully together in front of her body, but resting against it. "Would you like me to leave for a little while... until it's time?" she asked him, her voice as kind as normal.

As she spoke, as her soft voice filled his head with nonsense, he opened his eyes and looked at her. His vision didn't change, he didn't look away or move or do anything of the sort, for a few minutes. When he finally spoke his words were hallow, like he was dead on the inside already. "If you stay or go is up to you. Your welcome to either." His head tilted to look at her better but for the first time he didn't just glance her over. His eyes looked into her own and he captured her sight like he had that first night they met. This was something he no longer did often. After a few silent moments, his eyes pulling her toward him if she willed it, he closed his lids and dipped his head back again.

Victoire hadn't expected that answer. She had honestly expected him to tell her to go and not come back at all, thought she would have to help him through the night again. His gaze trapped her the same way it had before, only this time she felt her body moving while she just let it. She slowly came to him, unsure if she was doing something he wanted or not just yet. She wondered if he'd accept her closeness... and as she did she got closer. she almost felt as if he was tugging her closer, until his eyes closed and his head laid back. She stopped when her body was close enough to his where she could hear his breathing well, and feel his body heat. Her eyes, which had moved to her hands, seemed to absorb him; her hands moved from in front of her slowly to his stomach, then slid up to his chest, feeling his solid mass of muscle under his shirt. She watched them travel up to his shoulders, and one dare to slide up his neck, trembling slightly as if this was a make or break moment, and slowly over his tight jaw. It rested there on his face, her eyes on it. She blinked slowly, her eyes moving back to his though her head remained bent down slightly, as if she was alright with the idea that she was less than him. He treated her as such and she foolishly accepted it rather than fight it. Her other hand had slid back down to his chest, where it was resting for the time being.

His eyes stayed closed but he felt her. Her hand on his body, his chest his shoulder his neck and face. When she froze his eyes opened again and they looked at her nearly as hallow as his voice had been. The two stayed like that for a while until he finally changed the way they appeared. One second he was a statue, the next moment his hands were around her upper arms and pulling her to him. She slid between his legs as he gave her no room to argue or move from him. In truth he was starting to doubt she would. He moved so that their faces were near touching but he didn't kiss her. No he didn't do anything after pulling her against him. That was all he needed to do to get a reaction from her and he knew it. Hrukjan did to and thats why she stayed in the room where he'd be chained up later.

Victoire didn't break eye contact when he pulled her in, but she gasped. Her breathing remained slow but it was heavier, her chest rising and falling visibly for the moment. She moved her face close to his and away, as if she wanted to kiss him but couldn't. She didn't move close to him more than once though without connecting. She was drawn to him like a magnet, and even if he never wanted to hear from her again after these few nights she wouldn't deny him, and she wouldn't deny any needs he had. In her own head she began to agree with Ash, she was stupid girl. Though, she'd never tell him that, no. She pulled away from the kiss after a moment, not wanting him to feel obligated for anything She felts his body between hers and the walls, her hands on his chest, as they were so close. She could feel his tense muscles under them and quickly decided she would try to sneak a massage on him in the morning, after she cleaned him up again. Her breathing was still heavy and her eyes had fallen again to her hands.

Ash looked her over just before her lips met his. He didn't care but his lips didn't move in the kiss like she probably wanted. No he was watching this outside of his body, there was no real movement on his behave. Not until his eyes sparked again, like they had when he grabbed her, and he turned to lean her against the wall. What she was doing acting shy and unwanted now he didn't know but his spark was back for the moment so he pressed against her, leaning her into the wall more, and started to kiss her passionately. It was a dark passion, something that would again fall under a bust, because he soon had her lip bleeding from a bite but he wouldn't release her from the contact. No not yet. He kept the kiss going for a few moments until he finally pulled away and let her choose what she wanted. He moved so that if she wanted to get away she could have, or she could have continued it. All of it fell on her shoulders.

Victoire's eyes closed but it was not clear whether it was because of the kiss, the pinning, or the wall that they stayed closed for a few moments. He pulled away and he eyes opened as her tongue slowly poked out of her mouth to feel where he bit. She thought briefly of moving away. What was she doing? What have I gotten myself into... she wondered, but it didn't seem to matter at all. Her eyes stayed on his as her lips came back up. However they moved to his neck and now his lips this time. For the first time Victoire actually kissed it, biting down roughly but not as rough as he was with her. he couldn't be, her teeth were normal. When she straightened her head it was beside Ashes, the side of her face beside his. Slowly her head came back enough to steer in front of him again but she didn't keep moving back. she just barely let her lips touch his and it began. She lost control, let him have it, and she gave herself to him. She would do it on a whim, give him her body for abuse and release. Victoire didn't mind the roughness. His lack of gentleness awakened a raging beast inside Victoire that only he had seen thus far in her life. She was gentle with him until these moments, when she just didn't want to be gentle anymore. he made her like the roughness, the cutting, the bleeding, and the scarring. Maybe she was a masochist, maybe she did like the pain. Victoire didn't know and she didn't care.

When the two had finished what she was doing, Victoire slumped in a heap, unable to move anymore. Whether it was because of the bleeding or the sheer pleasure was unknown, perhaps even both. She was breathing quick and heavy, something rare for her, and her hair was in a wild tangle. Yet it fell as if it were meant to look that way.

Again they were pushed over the edge and he let it happen a little smother this time. He didn't blame Hrukjan or her, no he blamed himself for letting it happen this time. The passion that erupted between them was enough to make even his body heat feel like nothing and he didn't understand why it happened. When they finished she fell against him in her heap and he moved his hand to the small of her back. His claws racked against her skin, moving up and down her spine slowly, but he wasn't as rough as he had been just moments before. It wasn't until her breathing started to get back to normal that he turned and laid her over their clothing. This time he actually let his pants completely come of, though if that was because he didn't feel like destroying another pair or because of having some sort of feeling for her its unclear. He laid her head on his rolled up shirt and forced himself to stand. His body gleamed with sweat, his tattoos shining as if they were made of a million colors. He used his wand to summon some water and left it beside her. "...rest this time." He whispered horsely before leaving the room and going back toward the chains. He wrapped up half of his body as well as anyone could and just did what he could with the rest. The release with her was good and all but it left him open to changing quicker and he wasn't a fan of that.

Victoire let him move her, surprised at his calming hand, and how easily it worked. Within minutes her breathing calmed and he was laying her down on the clothes they'd just discarded. Her eyes were on him, a soft gaze, an innocent one. And innocent gaze that made her seem like a liar after what they had just done and the animal she had just been with him. She let him go, and graciously took the water. She set it down beside her but without closing her eyes she thought to Hrukjan How am I supposed to help him if I am having to rest? she asked, curious to how she was going to not be useless. She was bleeding still, but she could easily push the pain aside now after the split bone and broken rib. She could dress and help still, she knew she could.

Listen to him, that will help him. He is already chained for the most part and I will finish the deed. Sleep and heal before your bone cracks again. With that Hrukjan did just as she promised. She moved to push Ash against the wall and started to tighten the chains using her muzzle. When she was done Ash just hung there as he had the day before, and let his body relax. Soon after the sound of his snapping bones and ripping flesh echoed all the way to where she laid down. He once again took that savage form and spent the rest of the night trying for freedom and howling.

Victoire, for the first time, broke the connection with the wolf. She knew Hrukjan was right, but she wanted to be in that room so much more than where she lay. She had never done that before though, and it lasted only a minute or so before she felt that steady hum in the back of her mind again. She had panicked without it, having gotten used to it by now and even depending on it. That small hum was something to hold on to, and she didn't really like the idea of being without it. She started to drift off, having curled a little for extra warmth. She wasn't cold, the fire was keeping her warm well enough, but she enjoyed the little bit of extra body heat she produced. However her eyes snapped open again when the sounds began to ring through. At first her gaze saddened, knowing he was going through much pain. Then, as she had the night before, she drifted off to sleep at the sound of his howls, sleeping restfully under the insane lullaby.

She awoke the next morning, earlier than the night before. At first she startled, but then she remembered why she had no clothes. She found her way slowly, her body still aching a little from the night before, to the room that trunk was in. She pulled on something, not even really paying much attention to what it was, and went back the way she came. Hrukjan was waiting for her and helped her to the chamber he was chained in and the two took him down. She again conjured what she needed and began healing him as she had done the morning before. She watched her hands like always, a new habit of hers. She wasn't sure if it was a good one or not, but she couldn't help it. All this time she'd been running into Ash had sparked it and now she just couldn't stop.

Ash stirred while she was healing him and his eyes opened up just slightly to gaze at her. Why she was still there he couldn't understand but he didn't see the point in her doing this. Tomorrow it would all happen all over again. When she was done he laid there, his head once again on her lap, and watched her closely. The new found scars from the night before were dark against her fare skin. It looked like she was some slave to a beast and he knew an onlooker would think the same. After a few moments he forced himself up, same as the day before, and hunched over. Hrukjan pressed her head to his but he made no response to the creature or the veela, he was thinking again.

Victoire finished healing him before she noticed he had even opened his eyes. She hadn't noticed he was eying her as her eyes never left her hands. When he sat up, Victoire found herself reaching out, her fingers lightly tracing the scratches she'd left last night and a couple nights before. Victoire was in pain, yes, but a pain she was alright with. She knew it was her own fault she hurt now and she had accepted it. She'd just have to learn to hide the scars magically if she could not heal them... Victoire's gentle fingers ran over a few of the scratches she'd left, her eyes half open and her lips relaxed as she did. She sighed a very small sigh as if she were hoping he didn't hear, and stood slowly. She flicked her wand to make the bowls, rags, and water disappear again. This time however, she handed him a shirt that she'd grabbed she dressed. He was already dressed but for that, given she left his torso bare so she could heal it.Once he had his shirt she said nothing to him, the silence seeming to be just fine. She gave him a small smile, one that turned to a sad smile as she left the room, heading for the room with the skins. She was going to put her hair up today, move it out of her face and out of her way. She wanted to asked him questions, talk to him just a little... but she thought he didn't want any of that, after all the fact that she was part Veela was enough to disgust him why would he talk to her? She sighed to herself, pushing all thoughts away as she began to brush her silky soft hair out. She pulled it up high at first, but decided she didn't like the feel of it. She wasn't looking in a mirror so she had to go on feeling and comfortableness. She soon decided on a single long braid that started as a french braid and as it left her head became a nice tight braid.

Ash pulled his shirt on after she let. He wasn't thinking about her or hrukjan or anything. His thoughts were devolved to deal with pain and nothing more. There was noting else to think about at the moment. When finally the pain started to slow in its pulse through his body, Ash rose and started after her. He was in the door by the time she was half way done with the braid and watched her finish it. When she finally turned toward him he looked like a walking corpse. His skin was near a gray colour and his eyes had no life shine to them. "How do you do that without a mirror?" He asked after the silence made his ears ring. White noise was his friend, his true lover, but when this came, when these changes came, he just couldn't take the sound any more. It drove him mad. Usually Hrukjan took the noise away, now he hoped she would.

Victoire chuckled, for the first time actually. Her laughter was soft, gentle like her voice, but she refused to let it be alluring. She gave him a small grin. "Lots and lots of practice," she said calculatedly. "And my mother breathing down my neck my whole life, I supposed that helped too..." she added after a split second's thought. Victoire wished, prayed even, that her beauty was just her carrying on the looks of her mother, not the Veela in her. The truth of it was, Victoire hated being a Veela about as much as Ash hated the race. She simply kept it to herself. The braid, finished, laid over her left shoulder, the shoulder opposite the one he'd slashed the other night. Her eyes roamed him, saddened by his seemingly dead appearance. "Do you want breakfast?" she asked him kindly, her eyes slowly sliding from his miscolored features to his eyes. She would try and try again to please him, to be helpful to him, no matter the rejection. Victoirefelt a stinging pain where he'd gotten heron her shoulder, and when she glanced down she noticed that maybe stretching it to braid her hair was a bad idea. It had opened and was soaking the shoulder of her shirt in blood. For a moment Victoire watched the blood seep through, before she shook the thought away and turned to him, waiting for his answer.

As she looked away toward her wound he moved to her, being able to smell the blood, and grabbed her arms again. He was standing behind her, making it so she couldn't turn to see him. His finger moved to her hips, tracing up her waist as he pulled her shirt from her body. Pulling his wand out of his pocket, Ash made the bandages unravil and fall in a bloody heap at her feet. He took a cloth from the trunk and wiped away the blood, the movement coarse against her, before magically having the bandages wrap around her again. The bone was healed by now but the skin still had to grow back. "Don't strain it." He let out a hallow whisper when the bandages were done. From there he handed her the shirt back and stepped away, letting her move freely again.

"sorry," she mumbled quietly as he spoke, as if she'd done something wrong. She was getting used to his surprising movements, and though she didn't jump, she still gasped lightly at his touch. He seemed to be gentle in short little touches with her, though she wasn't sure if she was maybe just looking too deep into it. She accepted her shirt back, her eyes moving to his hands, She had no idea why she seemed obsessed with hands, but his were absolutely breathtaking to her. He had large hands, larger than most grown men, and he was only sixteen! Strong hands, Victoire mentally reminded herself; able to lift her and tear her apart if he so wished. She was still holding the shirt, her eyes moving from hiss hands to his eyes as she repeated her question. "Do you want breakfast?" she asked again, her voice still a little quiet. She wasn't sure what was wrong with her. One moment he forced her to be bold, and the next she was her normal casual self again. Then there were these times, the times she seemed to grow timid. She wasn't, timid I mean, but she seemed so the way she acted sometimes.

He shrugged slightly before turning and walking toward the area where the meet was still smoking. When she didn't follow he looked over his shoulder as if waiting for her. It wasn't until she started following that he started moving again. Once in the other room He flipped the good meat to smoke the other side evenly. As for the mild meat he gathered it on a piece of the deer's skin and started to tenderize it with his strong fists. He didn't even seem to notice the blood as it, yet again, started dripping on the floor. The silence started again and he let the white noise take control.

Victoire stood still for a moment, unsure whether she was to follow or not. At his glance however, her feet slowly began moving. She followed him to where the meet lay. She was contemplating something and so she didn't speak much as he hit the meat. Finally though, that dripping beat swaying her a teeny bit without her even noticing, helped her to slip away to her thoughts and she finally spoke after a few more moments of no words between them. "there's something I have to know, before I do anything..." she said, unsure how she was going to go about this. She turned to face him, though he was not looking at her, still pounding at the meat. "Break has started and my parents as well as everyone at school will wonder where I am..." She paused for a moment, a little afraid to ask her question. "If you want, I'll go back to the school after tonight... if not I... well, what I mean is..." her question seemed to fall away each time she tried to ask if it would be alright if she stayed. She liked it here, she liked it anywhere he was and though she didn't know why, she did want to be around him. She didn't think he wanted to be around her, but she supposed she had to stop being a chicken and just say it or else she would never know. After a deep breath and a long blink Victoire said, not looking at him, but his hands as he worked, "If not, I'd like to stay..." she finally said, her eyes not leaving his hands.
