That was it, it was done. She'd officially made him the happiest man in the world, agreeing to be his wife. Eric kissed her forehead and rubbing her arms gently, lulling her into a peaceful sleep. He let her slip into sleep and even drifted off himself, this time holding her tightly and praying with all his might that her nightmares would stay the bloody hell away.

And that they did. The haze lulled her to sleep as she cuddled up to Eric whom apparently she was now engaged too. Too bad in the morning she would be surprised and fight against that...or maybe they would be okay. She did love him...and he loved her. And that's what she drempt of. With a soft yawn, she curled into him and laid on her side, nearly her stomach by then. He was a comfy pillow. She fell asleep and stayed asleep for quite some time, her system just filing out the pain and the fever. It was late that night before she started to rouse and finally a cool breeze was slipping through the house as a midnight storm rolled in.

Eric woke in the middle of the night, the storm waking him. HE couldn't help smiling softly, remembering her agreeing to marry him. he wouldn't wait either, he wouldn't give her the time to fight him. They would fly home soon, tomorrow if she wanted, and marry immediately. Then she would be his for the rest of time and Micajah would no longer be a problem for them. He slowly drifted back to sleep, her gentle sounds lulling him back to sleep.

As the cool air caressed their bed she yawned and stretched, her arm slipping around him. Eventually she cuddled up to him and drifted off into a deeper sleep again. She didn't awake again until morning, which by then the light outside was only from thunder and lightning. They were in the middle of quite a horrid storm but she didn't mind. Dominique fluttered her eyes opened and looked around, seeing him beside her. She kissed his chest and such but soon drifted off again. He was just so comfy. By now she was smiling and cuddling him. If she remembered agreeing to marry him than she was glad by her choice. If she didn't, she was just lost in her happy love for him and glad either way that he wasn't gone.

Eric slept peacefully for the most part, awaking occasionally to listen to the storm and smile while he watched her sleep. "Love, time to wake up," he said gently. He needed to cook for her but there was no way he could do that if she was sleeping. he didn't want her to wake without him. Even though the storm didn't bother him, it also made him not really want to leave her side. A storm just seemed like the type of setting Micajah would choose to make his appearance.

Dominique woke up and yawned a bit. She stretched and rolled away from him, her back turning to him, as she cuddled a pillow. It took her a few moments but eventually she opened her eyes and looked around. Turning again toward him she smiled and hugged him in a sleepy way. "...Mmm...Morning...?" She heard the thunder and flinched a bit. The noise just got to her. She wasn't afraid of storms but it was so loud and unexpected that she couldn't help it.

"Good morning, love. How are you feeling? The potion should have worked it's magic on you, now you've just got to rest for the rest of the week." He kissed her softly, loving her taste more than anything else in the world. "But that doesn't mean I can't carry you downstairs if you'd like... so I can make you some breakfast," he offered softly, kissing her gently again. Just to be sure she remembered last night he took a moment to ask. "You still alright with your decision?" he asked her, a little nervous but hopeful at the same time.

Dominique laid there happy to take his loving and kisses. She felt a lot better now after sleeping with him and resting. With a soft yawn she nodded that she felt fine and laid her head against his shoulder before shaking her head again. "I'm okay, I don't need to be carried around." she said in a cute huff before he asked that question. Her eyes lit up and she glanced at him, her mind straining to remember what she said. When she realized he had asked her to marry him again she blushed. "...I...yes...I am..." she whispered before closing her eyes and nuzzling him, hiding her face a bit. She was still somewhat embarassed and though she felt as if she were ruining him...she believed by now that he asked her not to protect her but because he loved her. She'd just have to trust him.

Eric smiled wholeheartedly. She did want it. She wanted to marry him and it wasn't just some hazy answer! He kissed her wherever his lips would reach for now, and finally slipped from the bed. "Well come then, it's time for your soon to be husband to cook his soon to be wife some breakfast, eh?" he said happily, offering his hand to her. he wasn't sure if she'd be able to walk now with the bandage, but the nurse had said she would be alright after the first night as long as she took it easy the rest of the week. Still he was there in case she needed him. For anything. Ever.

As his lips left kisses all over her body she giggled and squirmed. When he left her she pouted a bit and laid down against the pillows again. As he described himself as her future husband she smiled, unable to believe she would truly enjoy such a thing. After a few moments she gave him her hand and tried to get up. Her leg hit the ground and she nearly fell, her body leaning into his as she closed her eyes. "Sorry..." she mumbled as she looked up at him and tried to stand on her leg again.

"It's alright," he said with a smile, already there to catch her if she couldn't do it. He slid his arm under hers and around her waist, giving the stubborn girl some leverage at least. "Just let me know if you need me to carry you," he said honestly. He gave her a look that said he wasn't joking and as they made her first few steps he tossed in the fact, "You have to take it easy don't forget." He smirked at her a little, figuring she'd get a little frustrated with his constant help. Oh well, it was what made him happy, tending to her.

Dominique refused to be carried like some princess who couldn't do anything for herself. Instead she slipped her arm around Eric and leaned on him to walk but kept her head high as she moved herself. Every step she took on her injured leg made her wince but she tried to ignore it. Once they got to the stairs she sighed and turned to him, pouting. "....I guess....I'll deal with being carried....just down the steps though!" she said, knowing there was no way she could walk down the steps on her own or even leaning into him.

Eric let a grin spread... and it only got larger when she said the stairs only. He lifted her up easily and was down the steps in no time. The amount of time it took him to descend to the lower level of the house was less than half the time it had taken her to get from the bedroom to the stairs, and the walk wasn't a far one. He stopped just after the bottom stair and held her there for a moment, as if he wasn't going to put her down. He wanted her to pout, was hoping for it actually, and eventually he just kissed her and gently held her just above the floor so she could administer the pressure on that leg herself entirely. He held her tightly. "What do you want for breakfast, love?" he asked gently, as they finally made it to the kitchen.

When he stopped before putting her down she crossed her arms and pouted at him, knowing that without saying anything he'd understand she wanted him to stay to her word. When he finally did she held onto him so she didn't fall and eventually had to lean into him to hide her face and the pain she felt. It was a slow pace to the kitchen, where she propped herself up on a stool and sat as she watched him and his love of baking. "Oh...hmm...potato pancakes!" she said with a grin, knowing he made the best potato pancakes ever. She sat there, in her low cut tshirt and shorts, with most of her body uncovered. But she was comfy and it wasn't like anyone else would be here.

Eric's eyes lingered over the cups of her top, but did not die any lower. Being a male he just couldn't help wanting to see all of her sometimes.... he had yet to even do that. He would wait for her though, and possibly until their wedding night. He would wait later than that should she want him to, and he would be polite about it always. Eric was raised mostly by women, so he understood how to respect them and made the effort to do so, even when he badly wanted to be very inappropriate with her. "Potato pancakes it is then," he said with a happy grin. His mother had taught him to make these, and taught him the only 'right' way to do it, at least what she considered anyway. He already had some boiled potatoes left over from dinner the night before, so he pulled them from the fridge, rinsed them, and dropped them into a bowl to start mashing them with a little tool by hand. "Anything else with your pancakes, lassie?" he asked her, his thick Irish accent shining through yet again as he popped his head up. his hand continued mashing the potatoes, but he looked at her with a smile.

Dominqiue couldn't help laughing lightly when he called her lassie. It just made her giggle. He was so cute, and she just loved his accent. When he asked what more she wanted she thought about it. Well he wanted her leg fixed, Micajah gone, and to see her family again but none of that seemed possible with breakfast so instead she said: "Mango juice and a kiss." Her arms opened slightly and called him forward for that kiss as she smiled. Dominique, use to hanging out with guys all her school life, normally dressed like a male at least when it came to sleeping or being comfortable, so she didn't realize that what she was wearing could be such a tease to her...future husband.

Eric had to clear his throat slightly as she opened her arms to him. Something about her this morning just had him driven and he was doing his best not to succumb to it. "Right away, m'am," he said quickly, setting his bowl of potatoes down to walk over to her. He came around the small island counter to wrap his arms around her. On the stool she was his height and he didn't have to bed, so he walked right until his lips met hers, when he smiled sweetly and slid one of his hands up to cradle the back of her head lovingly.

When he came over to her she slipped her arms around him and hugged him as their lips met. As he held her in return she closed her eyes, tilted her head up, and smiled into the kiss. Her lips moved fluidly against his own and she couldn't help but her body press against his on the chair. She loved him so much she couldn't believe she had never agreed before.... When the kiss broke she chuckled and wrapped her arms around him again, not wanting him to leave. After a few more kisses she finally let him go.

Eric wished she wasn't so clingy in that outfit... Unable to hide the reaction she was causing to his body, thanks to wearing nothing more than a pair of shorts at the moment, he sighed against her kisses. "Yer goin' to drive me crazy," he muttered quietly against her lips, finally pulling from the kisses. While turned away from her he readjusted himself as best he could, his body a little crazy with hunger. He wouldn't give in though, not until she was really ready, and he quite liked the idea of waiting until their wedding night to take that final step. He went to the fridge, taking advantage her not being able to see hi fixing himself as best her could. It was still slightly visible, but as politely as he could make it -which wasn't much. He grabbed milk and a few spices and went back to his bowl, adding ingredients and spices while mashing a little more and stirring fervently. Finally he turned the stove on and set a large frying pan down. He dropped some potatoes in and let them make round cakes and start cooking. While that happened he grabbed plates, the fresh mango juice she'd made, and some glasses. He poured them each a glass and handed hers over, turning to flip the couple he'd started.

Dominique gave him an innocent and confused look, which was honest because she didn't understand how she was driving him crazy. When he turned from her and paused she tilted her head to the side and thought about it. A blush came to her cheeks when she understood what he meant at last. She took the time his back was to her to calm down and when he finally looked at her again she smiled, ready and hungry to eat his food. He was a wonderful cook where as she was horrible at it.r That was thanks to her mother, of course, for refusing to allow her girls to learn such things. She wanted them to all have maids for that. Dominique decided that when her leg was better she'd have Eric teach her how to cook too.

Eric finished a couple of them, jolting the pan skillfully to flip each one. She slid them onto the plate, and started a few more. When all of it was finished he grabbed two fresh plates and the proper silverware. Setting everything up on the island, since they didn't have a table in the simple home, and grabbing ketchup from he fridge. He served her two of the pancakes, and then set the ketchup between them, sitting down and serving himself. "I hope you enjoy it," he said sincerely, kissing her temple once before turning to his plate.

Dominique smiled as she watched him cooking and seemingly having fun. She propped one arm up on the counter and laid her head in her hand as she watched him, her eyes dazed and tired looking. She almost fell asleep there, a smile on her lips, before he turned around with the food. She took the things from her so he didn't burn his food and started sipping on her mango juice. She tried not to eat without him but eventually her stomach demanded it and so she ate in small bites savoring the flavor. "Oh your cooking is the best!" she proclaimed as she continued eating, only using a little ketchup as she did so. It was just awesome.

Eric smiled widely. "You have mum to thank when we get back," he said, kissing her cheek. He fully planned on bringing her home to her family once she wore a band that bound her to him and he wore one to bind himself to her as well. After that, if a fight was what Micajah wanted, it was a fight he'd get. He ate some food as well, enjoying it but not nearly as much as she did. "You're very cute when you're enjoying my food," he said with a chuckle and a slightly playful grin.

Dominique paused when he said she could thank his mother. So they were going home.... As wonderful as that sounded Dominique realized she didn't want to loose their home either. This was where they started out...and it was wonderful. The people were kind, the creatures were amazing, and it was a home they built themselves. No one else worked on this place. They cleared the land, they put it together how they wanted. She didn't want to loose it. As she thought about that she found herself swaying happily with each bite of food until he mentioned she was cute. He had her blushing and she shaked her head. "No I'm not," she argued as she ate a little more and tried to not be cute any longer.

Eric had promised her he would keep this as a summer or vacation home and he planned to keep that promise. When she argued with him, he just chuckled. Let her argue, it didn't change the fact that she was cute. "Yes you are, and when we leave here I'm going to protect it... it'll be a safe house for us in the future, or our children in the future. Hopefully we nor they ever have to use it, and we can come for vacations... but it'll be our spot... for just us. Sound good?" he asked her, smiling as he took another bite.

She scrunched up her nose and shook her head, refusing to believe him. "I am not!" she whined before taking another bite to eat. Hey, she loved his food, just cuz he said she was cute she wasn't going to stop eating it. Eventually she listend to him with a slight surprised look. She didn't remember mentioning about the house, so did he know her that well? At the same time...he was talking about her future and she was trapped there, listening, wondering if it was true. Would that be their life? She kind of...really hoped it would be. It sounded nice. At the same time could it be? Oh he rmother would die if she found out Dominqiue planned on marrying Eric.... For no apparent reason Dominiuqe leaned over and kissed Eric, smiling. "I love you," she said as she pulled back to sit down.
