Ron watched her as his hand fell from his hair. "You should meet my brother then." He said with a grin as he thought about Bill and even Charley Well...actually hi owl family had basically the same hair so now he wondered why she didn't pick George or Fred. Looking around he started to wonder where they were. "If I could find them I'd introduce you to two of them." He said with a wonky grin.

Serena let out a barely audible chuckle and shook her head as if to say 'oh my goodness'. "Well, see" she started, talking with her hands but only using them slightly. "If I wanted to dance with your brother, or anyone else, I would have." When she had finished speaking, Serena look at him directly, Her face serious and simple. Then she slowly let her head turn while her eyes surveyed the dancing and whatnot of the ball. Her eyes paused for a mere second on Professor Beklea, but they were moving again so quickly one would have to have been searching for her gaze to notice. "Would you like me to go find someone else, then?" she asked. She wasn't being mean or pushy, but she did give him a sideways smirk, a hint of one as she waited for his answer with a quirked brow.

"Up to you." He said as his arm moved to scratch his neck. Ron's eyes casted down and he sighed slightly. Yep blown. No way he could handle being around a pretty...beautiful...okay dangerously sexy girl like this. If Fred and George had seen they'd be making cruel remarks for the rest of the evening, if not the year. Swallowing hard he glanced up at her in his timid way that sometimes beheld him, and waited to see her move. He was pretty sure she'd move.

Serena smiled now, giving him a slight nod of finality and spoke gently. "Alright then. Take the compliment and enjoy the evening with me. If it's up to me, it doesn't matter why now does it..." she didn't give him room to speak as she scooted a little closer to him. "Besides, you look like you could use the company too," she said, now giving him a look that was indescribable. Somewhere between happiness, sandness and loneliness. She looked out over everyone, lifting her drink yet again to sip from it. She said nothing else for a while, just enjoying his company.

Ron nodded a bit before leaning back in his chair. As his eyes looked around at everyone in the room he noticed his brother dancing...erm more like break dancing. He couldn't help it, Ron started laughing slightly and shook his head. He remembered why school use to be fun with the twins around.

After a while, just sitting there and watching the floor, Serena looked at Ron, her icy blue eyes pulling his gaze to her. "Would you like to go for a walk?" she asked, growing bored of the ballroom. She smiled shyly though. "I've never really seen the grounds." she said to him, nibbling the inside corner of her lip slightly.

Ron shrugged. "Sure why not." He stood up and cracked his shoulder. Holding out his hand, he waited for her to get up. "Where do you want to go?" When she gave him her hand he started to walk with her toward the entrance hall and out onto the grounds.

Serena stepped over the last remnants of the Twin's portable swamp, smirking a little at Snape as he gave them a dirty look. She weaved back onto the dance floor, stripping herself of her coat and dropping it on a chair on the way through. She lifted her arms and spun, bring them down onto Ron's shoulders as she once again danced dangerously close to him. "I love this song," she sighed with a sly smile. She dipped her hips as she spoke and pressed against Ron, not even noticing the eyes of jealous and disgusted students.
