Ballroom [H.P. Era]

Subject: Ballroom [H.P. Era] Sat Oct 02, 2010 8:49 am

This room has been enchanted with floating candles and orbs full of glittering confetti. Dancing mistletoe will choose it's victims at random and if your caught under it, even if it's with someone you never meant to be standing by, the pixies that live within it wont let you go until you kiss! Be careful who you stand by this night where the pixies have a strange power over your every move, enchanting you into happiness and perhaps madness if your not careful. The snow falls from the sky through the ceiling but never touches you by the time it reaches the floor for it turns into soft nothingness.

Hermione made her way into the ballroom a little shyly. She had no clue where Ron and Harry were, or if they had even come tonight, but she loved Christmas Balls. She moved around with a bit of grace, but not too much as she stumbled a couple times in her heels. She wasn't used to dressing this way, and until recently she didn't believe she even had the body to dress this way. Hermione's dress showed a little more than she was comfortable with, but as she took off her jacket and draped it on a chair she looked around. A small smile came across her lips as her eyes traveled up to the slowly descending snow. She reached her hand up to catch some but it simply disappeared by the time it reached her hand. With a soft sigh she poured herself a glass of pumpkin juice and moved against the wall to watch everyone for a while.

Minnerva moved along the students, correcting a few vulgar positions and reprimanding a couple students. "Evening mister Malfoy," she said when she came across him. "Looking spiffy as always," she said in her normal stern tone before she moved along, a disgraceful dance catching her eye as she rushed to the couple responsible for it.

Fred made his way in, his arm linked elbow in elbow with his brother's. Together they walked the edge of the dance floor, Fred wearing a red and black themed tux to match George's green and black one. They each worse a fedora, Fred's being red and George's being green. together they were the Christmas Twins, and they happily toasted at random points. "'Ello 'eadmistress!" Fred called across the room, toasting her from far away. She lifted her glass with him and together the three of them drank.

George was busy taking in the scenery, until his brother yelled to the woman he once called Headmistress. He lifted his glass as she did and drank with them. Then his eyes moved around the room, only to freeze on someone over in the corner. "Is that Hermione!?" he exclaimed, yanking Fred's Elbow.

"bloody Hell, mate!" Fred called out, choking on his sip of fire whiskey he was about to take. "You dammage this suit, an' I swear I'll-" However he stopped talking when his eyes met Hemermione as well. "Oh boy," he said, gulping. "She's changed a little..."

"A little!?" George rebutted. "Looks like a bit more than a little to me..." He wasn't able to say any more though as students moved in front of their view. They moved on, walking and chatting with a few old classmates.

Remus slid into the Ballroom, his eyes on the students. He was hoping Tonks would show, but he knew she wouldn't if her parents couldn't take teddy for the night. He went straight to the High Table and sat, his eyes constantly moving slowly over the students.

Tonks rushed in, her hair a bubblegum pink and her bangs neon blue. Her dress was ...well not a dress. She had a blue skirt on and a pink belly shirt. All in all she matched perfectly. A few students waved at her and smiled but for the most part her eyes were scanning for her beast. Finding him, seeing his walk toward the table, she started off at a run. She never was very good with skirts.

Malfoy bowed to the headmistress, sneering secretly as she walked away. Bloody female. Snape should have been in charge, not her! Moving his cape so that is flourished behind him, Draco gave no female a second glance. His eyes glanced over at Hermione, his sneer depending, before he turned from her wicked form to the table where his dull date sat. Grabbing her arm, he pulled her onto the dance floor. The girl was eager to go, making him resent her more, and she even seemed to enjoy his pulling her about. Masochistic freak. he thought to himself as they spun in a perfect dance.

Snape slipped into the ball from the back room, his normal robes on but seeming to be newer, less faded. He walked along the head table, passing the Headmistress' chair with a sneer of his own. Finding his seat, he pulled out his chair just as he heard Remus and Tonk's muttering to themselves. Holding back his want to roll his dark eyes, Severus sat and kept an eye out. He was hoping not to see any stray dogs about...scratch that. He was praying he did.

Remus heard her coming, the full moon being only nights away. He turned just as she reached him and took her in a hug. "Hello there, love." he said gently, brushing her bangs back, though they fell perfectly back into place and he just smiled. "So your mother took 'im, then?" he asked, kissing her quickly.

"Ooh, George look, it's the ferret. An' it looks like he's got 'imself a girl for the night." Fred smirked, itching to torment the Malfoy.

George smirked the same mischievous smirk in Draco's direction as his brother, and together they started for him. However, just before they reached him someone stopped them.

Hermione was standing against that wall, watching the dancers when she noticed him, looking rather refined in his suit. She had to admit Malfoy cleaned up well, but she scoffed at herself for even thinking such things. She noticed Fred and George heading for him and for some reason she piped up. "Fred, George!" she called, rushing out to them. They turned from their path, George the first to reach her and lift her in a brotherly hug. "Oh, I've missed you boys so much," she said to him, hugging him tightly.

George saw her heard Hermione and turned on the spot to accept her quickly approaching form in a tight hug. He lifted her off the ground and spun her in a brotherly way before he set her down. "We've missed you too, 'Mione," he said with a grin, completely forgetting about Malfoy.

Fred spoke low to Draco, in his normal twisted tone of mischief. "You got luck this time, ferret," he said before he too turned to hug Hermione, laughing like normal. "Hey, 'Mione! It's been too long," he exclaimed, hugging her as well.

Hermione hugged Fred, and her eyes met briefly with Draco's However, she timidly closed them and smiled, focusing on Fred and George now. "Where have you two been?" she asked, trying to turn her attention to them.

Harry Potter slipped into the Ballroom, alone for this dance. Ginny had said she wasn't feeling well and he left her in the common room laying on the couch. She had pushed him to come and see how the dance was going but all he wanted to do was go back up there. However her saw Fred and george and... who was that... over by the dance floor and he started over.

Tonks smiled and hugged him as tightly as she deemed possible. "Ello ello howler!" She chuckled at his grimace. "Oh yes, she'll always take 'im you know! She loves him bless her heart." She was beaming, not only with pride of their child but with love for the man before her. The mans he'd be chaining up days from now.

Malfoy glared at Fred, catching Hermione's eye. Scoffing and turning away, he spun his date across the floor. The room watched them, some with heavy eyes others with wanting ones. They were a plater to be eaten by the masses and Malfoy relished in it. She was breaking though.
Can't we sit down..
"You can sit down and with it find a new date. I don't have time for pathetic insects." The girl started to cry as he pushed her away and walked toward the window. Leaning on the sill, he gandered at the ice outside.

Ron was not happy. Sure his brothers had gotten him new robes. To bad he forgot them. Sure he had them at home where his mum could grab them in send them. Too bad she sent the wrong ones. Wearing the same horrid costume from that bloody tournament, Ron looked like a fool! He felt like more of one as he bumped into Krum in the door. "Ello there..." He said roughly. Ron knew why Krum was there. Hermione was about. Though, even Ron didn't understand who he was seeing when his eyes glanced over her by Fred and George.

Viktor entered with his normal, slow paced steps. His boots were heavy, lethargic even, but he still had that over whelming presence. Stopping in the doorway, he caught sight of Hermione off the bat and wasn't surprised by her appearance at all. He knew she could clean up well. When Ron passed him Krum bowed his head slightly, not seeming to notice the coldness. "Hello." When Ron started to walk toward Hermione Viktor followed close behind.

Hermione let Fred and George lead her away, toward a large table. When they got there, they met paths with Viktor Krum, Ron Weasley, and Harry Potter. "Viktor!" she exclaimed happily, rushing into his arms for a tight hug. It was only then that the obviousness of who that was became clear. "Hello Ron, Harry," she said with a bright smile, giving them each a nod as she did. She then turned her attention to her boyfriend. "How was the trip here?" she asked Krum. She had missed him terribly, and after the past few days of torment thanks to Malfoy, she was excited to see him.

Harry stood perfectly still for a moment, his eyes wide. "Hermione!?" he finally said, surprised at her looks. "Wow," he chuckled, coming over to give her a hug as well. He then extended a friendly hand to Viktor. "'Ello there, Krum," he said, shaking the Durmstrang boy's hand. He looked around, as if he were going to see Ginny, but he remembered she was up in the common room, and he slank back to the edge of the group, sitting when everyone else did.

"'Ello there Krum, m'boy!" George exclaimed, patting the boy on the back roughly. "'Ow's the season treatin' yeh?" he asked, nudging the Quidditch Star with his elbow playfully.

"Heard the Holyhead Harpies flew circles aorund you guys last game," Fred said sadly. Of course Krum was his favorite. "What the bloody hell happened there..." he said, more to himself as he shook his head and sat down with the lot, saying his hello's to Harry and Ron

"Hello Hermione." Viktor said lowly, a soft tick to his voice as he wrapped his hands around the girl. He had missed her, though he'd never admit just how much, and was very glad when she asked him to come. It took him a while on his own but it was going to be a splendid evening and he knew that. Taking her into a spinning hug, letting her dress cling and twirl around her and not caring who glared at him--for he felt those eyes stabbing his back-- Krum couldn't have been happier. When he let her go and saw Potter he simply nodded and shook his hand. "Hello Potter." he let out a slight smirk and then looked back at his beauty and brains, his Hermione.

Bloody. Hell.
Ron's mouth dropped open and his eyes bulged in their sockets as he finally figured out who that girl was. Hermione?! And here he had poked fun at her for the past five years. Bloody Hell again. And then the grimace came. Bloody Krum! How dare he take-take....nothing. Ron sighed and just walked away, knowing and feeling the fool again. He nodded at Harry, ignoring any comment of his clothing, before leaning back against the table and stuffing his hands in his pockets. he found a hole and his finger just slipped through.

As the twins started speaking Krum smiled a bit, hiding his annoyance. Qudditch was all he was good for it seemed. "Season's good. Very slow this year." He nodded a bit to himself before he heart Fred's mumble. "I do not know...I had been in an accident a few days before so I wasn't at my top. I am sorry." He felt bad, knowing the twin's love of the game and the team.

[color=orangered]Fred and George let it go for now and moved to sit down. Fred poured everyone a drink and lifted his glass. "To Christmas," he toated, before tipping his glas back.[color]

"To Christmas," George happily agreed, tipping back his own glass. "Nice dress, Ron," he said with a wicked grin as he sat down, laughing.

"Yes, it seems someone's sent you the wrong ones..." Fred said with a mischievous smirk.[color]

"But they look aweully nice Won Won," George finished with a chuckles and a smirk to match Fred's.

[indianred]Hermione gave Viktor a happy smile, a dimple showing on each cheek. "Oh Ron, don't listen to 'em," she said soothingly, smacking Fred pgiven he was nearer. "You two are horrible," she saidm thoguh she couldn't hide a small grin at their use of his hated petname. She however lost focus on them and gave it to Viktor. "I've missed you," she said, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

[color=darkred]Harry toasted and drank, but his eyes again went to the door. "I'm only staying for a little while," he said, sitting down. "Ginny's sick, she said she wasn't coming." He gave a small smile and drank, his eyes scanning the room absently.[color]

Ron wasn't going to take this any more. Sure he could deal with his brothers, and this bloody robe, but he wasn't sitting around to watch Hermione and Viktor. "Yeah yeah, well I've got to go...find my date. yeah..." He slipped off, his head sunk. As he walked away, ignoring nearly everyone in the room, he ran into the crying form of Malfoy's old date. "Oy!" He said, nearly knocking the girl down. When she let out a squeak and a sob he frowned. The two started talking and he wrapped his arm over her shoulder, leading her to a table to calm down.

Draco kept his back to everyone, though he watched anyone who came near in the reflection of the glass. The night outside was getting worse, soon a blizzard would take hold and maybe he'd send some fools out. A few missing students wouldn't harm him. He ignored the thought for a bit, storing it for later when the storm was worse.

Grinning a bit, Viktor smiled as he pushed back a strand of hair falling into Hermione's face. "I missed you too...how has the year been?" He asked with his thick tongue, his words curving over his lips and seemingly only to her, though he didn't whisper. Whenever the twins did something foolish he'd laugh or smirk but his attention never left his beauty for long periods of time.

Ginny walked in, her dark violet dress swaying against her legs. With her hair tied up one could see she was pale and sick but she didn't act like it. Walking in with a stance that made everyone stare at her like she wasn't just the youngest Weasley or some fifth year, Ginny headed straight for Harry. When their eyes met she smiled brightly at him.

Hermione hadn't noticed Ron walk off, she was focusing on Viktor. "It's been... boring," she told him, letting her eyes mingle with the crowd for a moment. They passed over a Slytherin with his back turned but she didn't let them rest there. However the window stopped her gaze for a moment and a soft smile spread on her lips. Oh how Hermione loved the snow. She returned her eyes to Viktor, smiling still. "If not for your letters I would have gone mad by now. How's it been at Durmstrang?" she asked him, leaning into him a little. Her dress showed much more cleavage than Hermione was comfortable with, but she didn't seem to notice for the momeny.

Harry turned and saw her, his Ginny. "Ginny," he exclaimed, moving to meet her part way. He stumbled over his chair, but made it to her before she reached the table. His arms wrapped around her gently and he gave her forehead a soft kiss. "You look... wow, Ginny," he said, griining widely. Though it quickly bled into a firm glance. "You're sick, you shouldn't be here," he told her. Though he led her to the table, knowing she was much too stubborn to go back now.

Ginny ignored his glance and weaved herself under his arm to lean against him. She, truthfully, felt quite weak and would have been better off in bed but couldn't stand the thought of leaving Harry alone to the rumors of those around him. Again. She walked back to the table, saying hello to her brothers and laughing when they gave her their own stern glances for her outfit. She didn't care, yet again. "I know I know, and," she turned to Harry as they sat. " I know I'm sick, but I'll survive! One night on my feet wont kill me." She grinned and pushed back a strand of hair that she had enchanted with a soft curl.

"Has been very boring and quiet...I looked forward to your letters as if they were the only sun forcing through the clouds." He grinned again, moving so an arm was behind her but not holding her firmly. He didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable. His eyes darted down for a moment but he didn't let it show, no matter how he enjoyed the peek. "I wish you could join me there...but then I fear you would be taken by all the other students! So for safety I'll continue to deal with the travels." He chuckled and kissed her temple gently.

Hermione smiled widely, letting her eyes close only while his lips touched her temple. She chuckled as well and lifted her glass for a small sip before speaking. "Well I highly doubt you'd have to worry about that," she said with a grin. Then her eyes caught Ginny. "Ginerva Weasley!" she exclaimed, though she gave the younger girl a firm glance that wuickly bled into a smile. "How are you feeling?" she asked, not bothering to scold her. She knew her friend too well and she knew very well Ginny wasn't going to miss out on the ball. Not all night anyway.

Harry couldn't help it. He smiled in spite of himself, happy to have his Ginny. He wrapped an arm around her as they sat down, pulling her and her chair closer to him. He didn't speak for a while, but let everyone else talk amongst them. Instead he looked around, his hand moving to play with her curl. It was a nervous habit of his, his hands had to be in her hair most of the time. When she had it up he loved the way it looked, but it drove him insane not to have something for comfort. So for now he took to twirling her curl around his finger then letting it go. Then he would do it again.

"Ginny!"George exclaimed when he saw her first. He said nothing else, only gave her a firm look, very obviously saying he didn't approve. When the topics change however, he forgot all about it and looked around. "Too bad we're not students anymore, eh Fred?" he said with a wicked smirk while he nudged his twin, his eyes on the dance floor."

"Oh I know it," he replied, turning now to look as well. "We would have so much fun, lookit tha' one," he said, nodding his head in a random girl's direction. "Hell of an outfit, wouldn't ya say..." he mumbled, smirking still.

"Bloody... Hell..." George mumbled back, his mouth falling slightly agape to the girl on the dance floor. He lifted his jaw quickly though and turned to the table again.

"You're animals," Hermione said casually. Her face showed she did not approve, but she said no more about it and simply took a drink of her pumpkin juice.

In some way, some way he had no clue of, Ronald ended up dancing across the floor with the slytherin girl who's dress was tight leather that clung to her hips and didn't even reach her knees. He had lost his coat and looked quite dashing in his dark violet coloured suit, even if it was a bit old fashioned. The two ended up doing quiet well and Ron couldn't help but thank his Professor for that horrible dancing lesson.

Angelina spun from the dance floor to meet the gazing eyes of the twins. She had a dress that showed off her curves but was something no one ever thought she'd wear. Smirking a bit and shaking her head--for she thought they were drooling at another-- Angelina started for them. "Shut your mouths Weasley's! What are you doing here?" She punched the two in their shoulders and grinned, her lips painted in a pale gold to match her eyeshadow.

Ginny ignored everyone and smiled at Hermione otherwise. "I'm fine fine, just feel a bit woozy." She said gently as she let herself be pulled to Harry. Laying her head on his shoulder she chuckled at his nervous tick, kissing his cheek gently again and again whenever her hair fell on her shoulder. When he looked at her she smiled sweetly and leaned forward, pecking his lips softly.

Viktor shook his head. "They are men...which is what I fear if you ever visit me at Durmstrong!" He exclaimed as his hand tightened against her waist slightly. Laughing a bit, a strong deep sound, he looked about and then back at her. "But I believe you to be the fairest here Hermione." In his eyes shined the truth that he believed those words more than anything.

George jumped up and wrapped Angelina in a tight hug. "It's been too long, Angie," he said gently before Fred had hold of her.

"Blimey! You're the sexy one then!" Fred exclaimed, jumping as well to wrap her in a hug just as tight when his brother had finished. They shared many things Fred and George, and a love for Angelina Johnson was one of them.

"You know, you would have seen more of us-"

"-Had you ever visited"

"The shop." the tins finished together, Fred's elbow now resting on George's shoulder while Georges arm cam around and rested over Fred's shoulder and they both grinned at her, waiting for an excuse as to why she hadn't yet.[/color]

Harry smiled down at Ginny, kissing her back when she pecked him. He wasn't so shy and nervous, like he had always been. At least, not with her anymore. He was open with her and about her, and let her be as public with affection as she was comfortable with. He kissed the crown of her head and watched the dancers for a bit before he turned to the conversation. "So, Krum. How's Durmstrang?" he asked, trying to talk to a male for a change. Ron was off.... Oh, there he was, dancing with... a Slytherin? Harry made a strange face of confusion mixed with amusement but he made no comment and returned his attention straight back to Viktor.

Hermione sat eyeing the dance floor, and after Harry and krum had talked for a little while she laid her hand gently on his arm to request his attention. Once she got it she smiled. "I'd love to dance..." she said teasingly, her eyes darting to the floor for a moment. She saw Malfoy with his back still to them and a small part of her wanted to prove to him she wasn't as ugly as he thought. However she did not show her thoughts or anything else as she moved to dance with Krum.

"Of course let us go!" Viktor rose, nodding a goodbye to Harry. They had spoken of his school for a few minutes but there was nothing to report. Nothing changed at Durmstrong. Taking Hermione's hand, Viktor took her too the dance floor, spinning her there, and then the waltz began. They were the simple couple, not trying to outshine anyone nor surprising anyone with their partners. The two were simply enjoying themselves and ignoring the others.

"Oh!" She said before bulldozing the two and wrapping her arms around both their necks. "I would visit if I knew when you'd not be busy! I don't want to get in the way of your shop, and as caption now of the Quidditch team I can't disappear as often as I'd like!" She whined before kissing both their cheeks. "Get a store in Hogsmeade and I'll be there nearly every day to see you pranksters!"

"Harry." She said softly, smiling a bit. "Are you having fun just sitting around or would you rather go somewhere else?" She asked softly, her hand trailing his cheek and push back his hair that fell there. Her hand moved to his neck and then her arm wrapped around him as she hugged and clung to him slightly.

Harry sighed, pulling her closer to him if possible. "Why don't we hang out here for a bit, then we'll go back to the common room," he told her gently, kissing the top of her head. "That way you can say hello to your friends and show off that.... wonderful dress," he said. He had trouble finding the right word for her dress... Sexy, showing, a tease... many things came to mind but he didn't want to say any of them. He didn't want her to feel bad just because he now feared every male in the place would want to carry her away from him. He tried not to show her that fear as well, smiling down at her instead.

Hermione let him pull her to the floor happily, smiling broadly. She danced with him, sharing a laugh here and there. Though, her eyes traveled all over the place as they danced. She admired the ceiling the trees set up with all the lights and bulbs on them, and the high table. The Headmistress' chair looked a bit spiffy, clad in a dark green felt cover, with red lights that were strungs around the entire border.

George grinned widely at Angelina, his eyes twinkling. "It's funny you should mention that," he said, his grin never faltering.

"It's in the works," Fred told her, his grin matching his brother's. They were so alike sometimes it owuld almost be frightening to anyone who couldn't tell them apart. "All we now are-"

"Employees,"George finished, the sentence never taking a pause. Together they grinned at her, though George's eyes stayed up on hers while Fred's moved around.

Fred let his eyes trail all the way down, which wasn't very far, her dress. He really liked the color she'd picked and admired the dress. However he admired those legs poking out under the dress much more and snapped his eyes back up to hers with a smirk that he hid as best he could. "Right, so now what will your excuse be, captain?"he asked her with a mischievous twinkle in his eyes.

"Does the fact that being about you two will get me in more trouble than I can handle count?" She asked with a laugh as she ignored that smirk. After the past years of knowing the twins Angelina had gotten quite use to the way they acted and she knew them both too well to mix them up, knowing the small differences. One of them being that Fred was a little -just a tiny tad- more pushy than George.

They danced and spun and enjoyed themselves so much that Viktor couldn't help but kiss her in the midst of it all. When they broke he pressed his forehead to hers for a moment before chuckling. "I am sorry, I could not help it. You are beautiful, Hermione." He smiled and held her closer as they danced.

Ginny laughed slightly and cuddled closer to him. "Alright, but I didn't mean the common room. I was just wondering if there is anywhere else you'd like to go and spend our time. There's no point in clinging around here if you'd rather not." She said as she closed her eyes and relaxed.

Harry smiled. "Let's go then," he said, standing and pulling her up with him gently. "How about a carriage ride?" he asked her. He would give her anything she wanted, anytime. Though tonight especially. She was not only sick, but it was Christmas after all.

Hermione was a little surprised by his sudden kissing her, but she kissed him back without complaint. The way they had turned, she saw Draco Malfoy's eyes on her just behind Viktor's it seemed. She looked as though she was looking at him from where he stood in front of her, but truth be told she was looking at Malfoy. She wasn't sure why he was looking in her direction, but as if almost to prove a point she leaned in and kissed Viktor again. "It's alright," she told him with a smile. She forgot about Draco again, laying her head on Viktor's chest and closing her eyes as they danced.

"Not remotely," Fred said to her. He grinned at his brother.

"Want to dance?" George asked, though before she could say yes or no, he was leading her to the floor, having hooked an arm around hers.

Fred hooked his arm with her other one, also leeading her to the floor. "Me too!" he said with a smirk.

With a chuckle she got up and locked her arm with his. "Sound's lovely!" She said with a grin as she leaned against him. "Lead the way then." Her voice was soft as they moved and she still had that older, sophisticated look about her. The dress was perfect for her appearance and she was blessed to have it.

Malfoy watched her for a moment, Hermione that is, before scoffing and walking off. He pushed past Wealsey and his date before slipping out of the room and toward the blizzard covered grounds.

Kissing her again, he smirked. "Good good." He said before tipping her back and holding her tightly to him. "Thank you for letting me return with you this year once more! I feared you would get someone else to take you." His eyes fell over Ron but moved back to her again.

"Now wait!" She mumbled as they got to the dance floor. "how is this going to work!" She said with a stomp of her foot and a laugh on her lips. "Come on then, this makes no sense how will I dance with you both at once?" Oh she knew many ways she could and they had done it before, but still it wasn't the easiest thing to do!

"Simple," Fred told her, slipping an arm around George.

"We've been practicing," he told her, smirking a little ad he too slipped his arm around his brother. They became on dancer, with two arms, and each moved as if one person. "May we have this dance then?" George aske her, as they bowed together as one and he held his hand up to her while Fred's went behind their backs. Once she accepted they began leading her all around the dance floor, moving perfectly as if one person.

"Now we're prepared to dance with you any time!" Fred chimed, happily swaying with the two. However the dance slowed and Fred broked from George, who used his free arm now. Fred moved in a flash, behind her in a few steps. He placed his hands on her waist and moved close t her while George moved a little closer in front of her. "Or we could dance like this," Fred said in a coive that was only a little above a whisper. He smirked over her shoulder at his brother whoe just returned it by grinning at her now.

"Heavens, no." Hermione said, seeing his eyes move though they were quick. Whe nshe was brough upright again she smiled at him. "You asked me and I promised you. I wanted you here, and why would I go with anyone other than my own boyfriend?"she said with a small chuckle. She smiled softly at him and let her hand move to his cheek. She had seen Draco leave and a small part of her tickled her to follow. Though she wasn't sure that was a good idea. No, she knew it wasn't, and so she stayed where she was, dancing with Krum. It was where she fit, where she belonged, not chasing after some Slytherin who would only turn and insult her anyway. hermione cursed herself in her own head for even wanting to follow the rat anyway. She glanced over at Ron, who was with his... date..?... "Looks like Ron's found himself a suitable date," she said laughing a little. She turned her attention to Viktor. "Thank you for coming," she told him. "It means a lot to me.

"Oh my ...." She couldn't help but laugh hysterically throughout their dance. Well, until the slow part. When Fred moved behind her she fell silent on cue. Swallowing hard, the atmosphere around the three changed drastically and she bit her lip a bit. George's smile made her return it with a soft curve of her lips, forcing the lower one to break free of her teeth. As the dance continued Angelina eventually reached back with one hand to race Fred's jaw with her fingers, lingering across his neck slightly. Her other hand did the same to George before her and she didn't even notice all the crude comments people around were saying. Some where cheers and others were nasty things she'd be dealing with for the rest of the year probably.

"Ov course." Viktor said as if she was foolish for thinking he'd do anything else. Even if he wasn't allowed Viktor probably would have still found a way to see her at any chance. "It means much to me that you let me come here again. His eyes scanned to the other weasley that wasn't on best terms with him and saw that the girl now had her head on his chest and he looked confused yet didn't seem to care as they danced. Krum laughed slightly with Hermione but otherwise remained quiet on the matter.

Hermione forgot all about Draco and Ron, and even Harry and Ginny, as she smiled up at him. "It means a lot to me that youcame," she said in a gentle voice, her smile not hideable. "So how are your classes going?" she asked as they danced. Same old Hermione, always thinking about her studies. Her looks may have changed, but Hermione was still the same person... for the most part.

Fred smirked behind Angelina, knowing full well she'd feel him do so under her fingers. He shivered a little when she reached his neck, hobering on the sensitive spot. He didn't care that they had never really gotten this close before, that didn't matter to him one bit. What did matter was she was teasing him and he wanted to make her pay for it. His hands tightened on her waist a little, his fingers pressing into her hip and pulling her just enough against him for her to feel that he was there. He never lost rhythm though, and he ignored the cheers and the hushed whispers now circling the room. They were far enough away from other staff and chaperone's and teachers, they weren't going to get caught. Beside, Fred knew many of those whispers were jealous remarks made by girls or cheers of both jealousy and congratulations from the boys.

This was the area that George differed from Fred. He kept one hand under hers, leading them, and the other just under her arm. his large hand resting gently around her ribs. His elbow held hers up and they, the three, moved perfectly in sinc. He continued to smile at her, but he let out a shaky breath under her touch. His thumb moved up to graze the jutting curve under dress inconspicuously and he just grinned at her secretly. He also, unlike his brother, thought it was a little odd how she was changing things a little. Sure they'd all gotten quite close and into some awkward situations but the trio didn't seem awkward at all tonight. He was unsure if it was the atmosphere or her, but he couldn't say he wasn't liking her sudden acceptance to their come-ons.

Angelina smiled at George and let her fingers trail against him gently, curling over his cheek and luring him in. She didn't want to tease the boys to much but she didn't know when she'd see them again and it wasn't like they were exactly going to let her out of the sandwich they were making. As Fred grabbed her she looked over her shoulder, a soft gasp escaping her lips. Her eyes scanned him until she looked back at George and smiled softly again. For some reason this didn't seem odd at all to her, it was awkward and it wasn't hard. They were perfect in the movements as if the three were one body, one perfection. But she wasn't about to let Fred get away with pushing this forward. She let her nails nip into his neck a little harder this time, her fingers lingering against his neck once more. This night was going to be...interesting to say the least.

"Ah, they are good. I ave been passing them all, but I must thank you for helping me over the summer." He said with a grin as his hand moved to the small of her back and he dipped her a bit before holding her closer again. "How are yours? Though I know you must be passing them all!"

Hermione smiled brightly. "Oh you're welcome!" she said happily, showing her pearly whites. However she flushed a deep pink soon after the dip. She just smiled and nodded. "We're getting into some fun wordless spells in Charms," she said, still blushing. She looked around a little, as if embarassed just to be there, but she smiled at him when her eyes met his. She said nothing but she moved with him, her eyes moving to their feet.

]Now Fred eased off a little, still holding her a little firmly and grinning. He only moved back a little, still standing rathed close, though his hands slid up her sides and down her arms and to underneath her hands, which George had only just let go of seconds before. His breath was on the back of her neck, warm and moist.

As if on cue, George moved perfectly in sinc with his brother. Just as the twin back away George moved closer, his hands slipping from hers and his arms letting her drop gently as he let his hands move to her waist now. He moved a bit closer, though she still had room to move away if it became uncomfortable for her.His head was beside hers, and he draped it a little, letting his cheek graze herse just slightly and her closed his eyes, smiling softly.

Angelina's heart was in her throat, beating so rapidly she thought she'd pass out. What was going on? The twins had never affected her like this before...they never made her...feel so weird...before... She just closed her eyes, a soft shiver going through her because of Fred. Letting her head tilt to the side and brush against George's, Angelina just relaxed into their dance. She moved against the two twins slowly. Her hands couldn't touch either of the boys any more but that was alright. She was slowly stopping in his fight. Her breaths were gentle and calm but she was just going with it. Angelina was done fighting. For this night she was more than ready to give in just to see them. Who knew when she'd see them again.

"Really? Wonderful." He said gently as he pulled her even closer. "Would you be angry if I stole a kiss from you again?" He asked softly in her ear after he had leaned forward. Smiling as he moved back and waited for her response, Viktor kept their dance going.
