Andrew was in the closet again, looking for clothes for himself when he saw what she was thinking. He didn't mean to, it just sort of happened. He was thinking about her, and suddenly he was seeing her thoughts. He as about to force himself to stop, but the image she was seeing made his whole body soften. His lids closed and he just let the whole scene play out in his head. She had called him lazy, as always, and this had sparked the discussion they had about the vials he used to take and that lead to him finding some wench to feed on. Then that spiraled into her being the very meal that drove him mad. A taste he would and could never get enough of, he knew this. Andrew smiled to himself, completely in love with he woman lying in his bed. He glanced out of the closet s he pulled all of his clothes down and couldn't help but feel his heart pound for her. "Here he comes," he said quietly, moving to the door. "I told you," he said with a gentle, loving grin, as he gave her a look. "Please cover up love..." He didn't want Ash to see what he could barely see through that nightgown.He then opened the door yet again before they had even approached. "Hold on, she's getting dressed." he said as he slipped out. "She's not hurting... just... over excited," he finished in a mutter, suppressing the grin as he thought about why. "Actually, I have a question for you," he said to Ash. He spoke low enough to be unheard from the other side of the door, disregarding Victoire for the moment. "is there any way I can pass that clot... you know, by feeding on her?" He wouldn't even try it if Ash didn't think it was a good idea, but he had to be sure.[/color]

Victoire sat up. "I'll come," she said calmly. She didn't want to make his thanking her any more awkward by openly saying he was welcome. Instead she just smiled and stood up, now taking a second to stretch. Her entire body seemed to curl backward in a perfect upside down U as she did so, but she seemed oblivious to it. She waited for him to be ready then followed him to Praxis and Andrew's room, which was not hard to find with the heat she was giving off. She watched her hands as they talked, not wanting to interrupt or be a distraction to anyone.[/center]

"yes yes fine" she muttered with a smile as she opened her eyes again and forced herself to sit up. In reality she was kind of woozy but hadn't noticed before that moment. Pushing herself up, off the bed as she grabbed the dress, she stumbled to the closet and got dressed in there just in case they walked in. Moving was a bad idea. At least standing up was. She ended up getting dress but by the time she was she had no energy left. She ended up slinking back against the farthest wall and slipping onto the ground. She was over heating again. Her body started to shake and her skin quickly paled until she could have matched Andrew near perfection.. Her hair, which had grown down to her hips, bounced around her as she slipped from a sitting position's into a laying one.

"If it hasn't grown any then you might be able to, but you'd have to hit an artery on her thigh--" he froze and looked toward the door. The heat coming off that room wasn't room her being excited. Not any more at least. He motioned for Andrew to go in first, since he was the coldest and if she needed to be covered, it would be best if he did it. As soon as he was in, however, Ash was a step behind. Praxis was in more danger than he thought. He had been far too lax with her treatment the day before.

Andrew's heart skipped a beat. He cold do that. He was a vampire for Merlin's sake, he knew where every single artery was in the human and animal body. As soon as Ash froze however, Andrew almost panicked. He darted into the room, no longer caring if she was dressed or not. This was more important that something as trivial as her exotically wonderful body being exposed. Thankfully she wasn't though. Andrew looked around for a second before seeing her on the floor, and he was at her side in the blink of an eye, lifting her onto the bed. "Hold on, love, we're here," he said as softly as he could in this urgent situation. "Now?" he asked Ash quickly. If he gave the word Andrew would remove the clot immediately, and without a word to her about it until it was done. If not he'd wait for Ash to take care of her first, then he'd do it. Andrew could feel her heat and he lay his hand on her forehead. It was enough to cool her for a moment. As his hand touched her head he forced thoughts of ice, and his cold body against hers into her head. He thought about anything that would keep her cooler, at least a little, finally starting to catch on to the connection they shared. The silver in Andrew's iris' swam around vigorously, almost as if something in him was working at something. He felt his hand get cool again, even through her warmth, but he didn't put two and two together at the moment.

Victoire followed them into the bedroom, turning a glass of water into non melting ice and laying it on her upper chest gently. She remembered her rose down in the basement and prepared to go and get it. If things got any worse she would go, but if they could cool her down and keep her alright or now she would save it until needed. She just stood there, feeling a bit awkward, waiting for any orders. If Ash or Andrew needed her help wit anything she was ready to do it without question.

Praxis was whithering around until he picked her up and put her on the bed. His cold, his thoughts, made her blood move better throughout her body. Sure she was over heating, but she had to calm down and relax for her baby's sake if no one elses. But of course she had to for Andrew too. So as long as she stayed concious she did her best to relax and wait out the pain.

"No." He started mixing the potions again and poured the black liquid onto some cloths. "Move your hand." the moment his touch was gone from her he noticed she was in more pain but she needed the treatment the same as before. Putting the cloth back on her forehead, he told Andrew to hold it down again as the he turned to Victoire. "Take this, lift her dress enough to get to her lower stomach and place this there then fix it." he turned around and waited till this was done so Andrew wouldn't rip his head off. Then he put his hand over it and focused. The blood clot had gotten a little worse but it wasn't enough to stop his magic from working. Her skin started to shine purple, black, and then slipped back into a normal white, before he pulled away a few minutes later. "Alright try. If something happens send for us, I need to gather some ingredients from the forest around here." He took Victoire by the hand and the two left the manor, leaving Praxis and Andrew to do what need be.

Reluctantly Andrew did as he was told, moving his hand off of her forehead. He still focused his mind though, hoping she could see the images he now saw. That day on the couch... and later that night as they fell asleep together, not for the first time, but it helped all this become possible. He thought about the vision she showed him when he doubted he could be a father, he thought about their snowball fights and their trip to Greece together. He thought about everything that had happened that was pleasant, going all the way back to when they were kids. He'd been in love with the woman laying painful in his bed since they were nearly eight, and it had taken him far too long to claim her. Far too long he waited to say anything, to show her... Andrew gave him a thankful look as he turned around. Victoire put the cloth on her and fixed her dress again and Ash was back at it. He gave a stiff nod, knowing he had to hurt her to heal her. Once they'd gone and the door was closed Andrew was at her side again. "This is going to hurt a little... But it'll be better in the end. I'll explain when I'm done. Hold onto me if you need to," he spoke softly to her, stroking her face before he lifted her dress again. One look and he knew precisely where the main artery ran down her leg, but he felt it just to be sure. His fangs hadn't gone back in since earlier, the panic making that impossible, and venom dripped off them and numbed her skin. He sank his teeth in, enough of his body there for her to grasp or dig should she need to once he started. He just hovered there for a moment, letting the venom from his fangs run through her blood and calm her before he pulled it out. He knew she'd been through worse pain before this clot, and she would be okay.

Andrew began to drink. Merlin he missed that taste. He drank for a good ten seconds before he felt the bitter taste of the clot passing into him. This didn't taste so good, no mater who's blood it was, and he closed his eyes tightly. After a few seconds that seemed like a lifetime to both of them he felt it pass, and he was tasting that sweetness he couldn't get enough of. He had a hard time pulling himself from her, but he knew he had to. He would kill her if he drank too much. Finally Andrew pulled himself from her inner thigh, licking the wound clean. He licked until not even a scar was present before he moved to lay beside her. He held her close after taking his shirt off and charming himself to stay cold.

"You had a clot." he told her truthfully. She had nothing to worry about now, it was gone, but he felt she deserved to know when she couldn't panic about it. "We couldn't tell you, because if you got stressed about it it would kill the baby and hurt you severely. Please forgive me." he said gently stroking her hair lovingly.

Victoire did as instructed, lifting Praxis dress with an apologetic look to Andrew. "Sorry," she whispered to Praxis, it had to be uncomfortable being exposed all the time. She fixed the dress neatly before touching Ash's shoulder and stepping out of the way again. She followed Ash closely until they reached the forest. "What do you need? We can split up and find it faster," she suggested once they made it there. She was wiling to help in any way she could, though she had no idea she was helping Death Eaters. All she cared about really was Ash, and he had a job to do. She would gladly help it, anything to ease his stress level. She felt the on-comings of the headache she'd taken from him but she just ignored it for now. It didn't mater, she'd taken from him and he wasn't hurting anymore, that was her concern. She waited to see whether he was going to tell her what to find, or if he wasn't going to separate. Either way she wouldn't argue, she knew better.

Praxis groaned, her back arching and her head tilting to the side. Merlin that hurt...but...at the same time she liked it. It was odd. At first she wanted to yell out but she just gripped Andrew's shoulder to stay quiet and know that it was him, he wouldn't do anything to hurt her or the baby. She trusted him. As the clot started to move she started to move as well but soon his numbing venom stilled her and her head lulled to the side, her eyes only slightly open. Once it was gone she let out a soft, deathly quiet sound as he continued to take from her. When he pulled away her leg slowly drifted back into play against the bed and she laid utterly still. When he laid down beside her she curled over and wrapped her arms around him, holding him tightly. At news of the clot she simply nodded, not caring at the moment because her head was on his cold chest and her ear was to his heart listening and loving it. She loved that heart because it was her's. Her's and her child's. "I...forgive you..."

"What I needed is no where around here. I've decided to stay away from those two as much as possible before he makes me leave completely." He said after he found a strong looking tree to thrust himself against and slide down into a sitting position. When she was close enough he pulled her down against his lap. "If you want to leave you can..." he murmured in her ear. "But i'm not moving for a little while."

Andrew closed his eyes. He wasn't tired and he wasn't falling asleep, but he honestly felt horrible keeping anything at all from her. His heart was now beating more powerfully, having had her blood again, and he felt stronger somehow. Of course he wouldn't tell her because then he thought she'd be difficult about the pigs blood. He wondered how long Ash would be gone for, but it didn't matter. She was alright for now and that was enough for him. His hands played with her hair as they lay there. "Are you tired? If you're not tired we can go sit in the den or we can go sit outside. It should be cool outside." Of course Andrew wasn't about to let her walk, he planned on carrying her, but if she was tired he'd lay there with her and let her sleep.

Victoire nodded slowly. As he slid down to sit she walked a little closer to him, close enough for him to take hold of her and pull her into his lap. "Who are you and what have you done with Ash Hallows?" she asked with a gentle grin. "Giving me all these choices and whatnot. Besides, what am I going to do elsewhere? If I go back to Hogwarts it'll be boring, if I go anywhere else I'm likely to gain stares and approachers, which only causes problems." As always, she had no contempt whatsoever in her voice as she spoke. She was perfectly calm and simply reasoning. "I think I'll stay." she smiled, leaning back into him a bit.

Praxis trailed her fingers over his bare chest, her eyes closed as she traveled the ridges and valleys that created him. After a while her breath, which had still been ridged, started to calm and she seemed to grow lighter against him, relaxing from her troubles. She felt safe, as she always did around Andrew. From down the hall she could hear a soft giggle that belonged to Dreama. Or, so it sounded. Praxis knew that it wasn't the girl down the hall, it was the girl in her room playing with her brother and the only reason she knew this was that connection she had to them. It went far past the connection of her people. It was a mother's instinct that was slowly, but powerfully, waking up within her. "I'm not tired." her voice was barely above a whisper as she spoke with her hot lips against the nook of his neck. Spell or no spell, she was just warm enough to bring some life back to his corpse cold, but never warm enough to burn him. Her head tilted just slightly, her hand moving to lay flat against his stomach, her curling nails lightly scratching his muscles. She wasn't teasing, she was just lethargic at the moment, and with good reason. When he moved she let out a low whine as if she didn't like the movement. "I refuse to let you move away from me today. You are my craving." she explained when he stopped. Smiling in a way she only did when alone with Andrew, she wrapped her arms around his neck and nuzzled him.

Ash gave her a side glance, a twitch in his scold showing he was slightly amused with her comments. She was interesting, that was for sure. He felt a blast of winter chill rush through the trees and wrapped his arms more snuggly around her body so it wouldn't hit her full force. "Your right," he suddenly growled, the sound lifted by the winds, "You going off somewhere would cause problems...for everyone involved." He grinned against her cheek before he leaned his head into hers. "We'll have to go back soon...but first, tell me what you know about vampires."

Andrew moved to get off the bed, but Praxis made a sound that froze him on the spot. He gave her a slightly worried gaze but her explanation just made him slink back down to her and smile. "alright, alright. I won't leave your side then," he told her gently. Andrew could also feel the presence of the children down the hall, and had a sudden want to check on them. "want to see the children?" he asked gently. When she agreed, which he knew she would, he lifted her in his arms. He let her lay against him comfortably and as he passed the dresser he instructed her to grab the orb Ash had given them and slip it into his trench coat pocket. He gave her a kiss as she did so, and off they went. As Andrew made his way to Dreama and Cyrus' room, down the hall and around the corner beside their very own large bathroom Andrew fixed for them, he stopped a house elf. "It'll be about time for lunch." They'd missed breakfast by now. "Make sure there are lots of Kiwis, peaches, and other fruits and vegetables. I want them eating healthy." The elf bowed low as he walked off and scurried to fulfill his commands.

Andrew knocked once gently on the door and slowly opened it. Dreama was flying about the room and almost hit them with a wing as she fluttered past happily. "Whoa!" Andrew exclaimed, ducking, shielding Praxis, and laughing. "Good afternoon. It's about time to get dressed and lunch will be ready for you once we're done," he told them as he sat Praxis on the bottom bunk with Cyrus. He plucked Dreama from the air, spinning and settling her gently on his hip. "Shall we get you both some clothes then?" He chuckled and opened the large walk-in closet door. He soon had clothes out for them both and helped Dream dress while Praxis helped Cyrus. Though it as a little bit of a chore, Andrew couldn't help but laugh at Dreama's attitude. She just made him smile about as much as Praxis did. "Alright, lunchtime!" he said, lifting his love up again. "And we need to be extra careful with mommy. Very gentle at all times." Together they led the two into the dining room. Andrew set Praxis at his immediate left. "Sit wherever you want," he told the children as the food was already on the table. There was already a goblet in front of his plate for him and he swirled it before setting it down for now. "Dig in," he told them once everyone was settled. Andrew couldn't help but feel he was made for this, being a father. He never thought he'd grow up so quickly but he was rather happy at the way everything was turning out. And for the first time in a long time, Andrew wasn't missing work. He was just fine with no assignments for now.

Victoire let out a chuckle. He amused her the way he was so back and forth with everything. But she was alright with it and always willing to go along with change. She greatly appreciated his blocking some of the wind from her, she hated the cold. "Vampires I know a lot about actually," she said. "They drink blood, sunlight can kill them if they don't learn to deal with it, but it weakens them. Um, they drink blood, did I mention that?" She let out a small giggle, realizing she indeed had. "They're very possessive, I know that. Anytime a Vampire's claimed someone or something and considers it theirs, they get very touchy about it. Usually anyway. Let's see here, they're supposed to be seductive and all that, taking what they want and leaving it at that..." She paused for a few moments. "If you're asking about Andrew in particular I don't know much about him, other than the fact that he's claimed Praxis... hence why he hates you touching her..." Victoire gave him a small smile. She saw no point in asking his reason for wanting to know what she knew of them, she didn't need a reason. "I believe most Vampires are Death Eaters though, at least... most I've met..." She wasn't trying to peg Andrew as a Death Eater, she was just being honest. Once she finished all she knew of them she glanced back at Ash. "Am I missing anything?"

Ash spiked his brow as he turned her so she faced him more than the forest. "Death Eater eh? So they all come right out and tell you, that it?" he was smirking and his voice didn't sound nearly as cruel as the words did. He looked up at her, his black eyes pulling her in. "I need to know something about that...claiming part. I know what werewolves do, and no I haven't done it to you yet, trust me you'd know. I need to know what Vampires do. Their wedding is soon...if he hasn't done the actually 'claiming' yet he'll do it then and I need to see if she can stand loosing large quantities of blood or she and the young is in danger." It was a simple, yet dangerous explanation. "Any info on that?"

Praxis chuckled at the children as they walked in. When Dreama zoomed over him she felt the wings on her back begging freedom. Oh how she wished she could go flying with them again. She was afraid what would happen though, transforming during her pregnancy. So for the next...what was it 12-13 months she'd be in this form. Sure she could still do some damage but if something happened would she be able to...she pushed the thought from her mind. There was always that one ability that she hadn't tapped into yet. The one that she knew she'd use if it came down to protecting Andrew or her children. As Andrew helped Dreama dress she helped Cyprus, who had been jumping on the bed beside her. It was hard to get the cloths over the wings but thankfully they had all been tailored so they zipped in the back and had open areas where their wings could fit while the rest covered their skin. It was perfect. Once dressed she nearly stood up to walk with them when Andrew picked her up. Chuckling, she wrapped her arms around his neck and nuzzled him slightly. Dreama giggled as she floated in her red dress.

"I've never worn anything but brown mamma! Is it allowed?" She asked gleefully. Praxis nodded and motioned her over.

"There are no restrictions here love. You are not bound to your colour." She said the last part as she faced Cyprus, who was adorned in a green shirt and black pants. He looked down at himself and then back up and grinned. It made his deep blue hair shine with the smile. He singnaled with his hands 'Thank you'. Soon the four were out and in the dinning room. The moment they were sitting Cyprus moved to Andrew's right as Dreama sat next to Praxis. She looked up and smiled. "We decided today is my turn to sit with mommy."

"Really, alright then!" she grinned down at her daughter, or who would soon be her daughter once she sent for a messenger to announce the two were with her. Soon she began putting food on her plate, mainly peaches, and once it was full she reached over and put it in front of Cyprus, who gladly dug in once it was in front of him. She understood why he was reluctant. As she made herself a plate she refrained from peaches, letting her boys have as many as they liked. Dreama didn't like them.

Victoire chuckled. "No, they don't, but during the war most were on You-Know-Who's side." She thought for a few moments. Her mind first went to thoughts about what he'd just said... he hadn't officially 'claimed' her. Was he going to? She pushed it from her mind and focused on his question. "Well, I do know that in order to claim her and make it illegal for another Vampire to attempt feeding on her he has to put her to sleep for about a week, feeding on her every night at precisely midnight. On the last night he has to give her his blood as well, without changing her. That's supposed to be the hardest part. If there's anything else it's a secret. You'd have to ask Andrew to be sure." She gave him what she knew, but she didn't know any more about it. She was almost sure she wasn't wrong, but she didn't want him to trust her word them find out different. She truly thought he should just ask Andrew. "What, may I ask, does a werewolf have to do?" Now she was just curious, wondering what the differences were for claiming among different species.

Andrew only took a few slices of peach, seeing Praxis eye them a little. He wasn't hungry anyway and only wanted a bite or two for the taste. He motioned the plate, and for her to take as much as she wanted. Her wants were very important to him right now. As Ash and Victoire talked in the forest about how Vampires officially claim their mates, Andrew was thinking about it as everyone fed themselves. He would have to put her to sleep, keep her fed and alive, feed on her nightly, and put his blood into her without changing her into a vampire. He would also have to perform a ritual, and he would need Desdemona for that part. She knew the spell he did not, a spell to put his mark on her permanently over her heart, signaling her connection to him. He kept his thoughts from Praxis for now as he thought about when he would perform this whole act. It would have to be after the baby's birth, of this he was almost sure. Andrew sat silently watching his growing family ingest food, slowly drinking his blood down. He couldn't help but smile, watching his children happily picking food off their plates. He had never imagined he would be at this point with Praxis, or this early in his life. But he couldn't say he wasn't happy about it, because he was. "What do we want to do today?" he asked, leaning his elbows on the table, lacing his fingers, and laying his chin on the bridge he'd created.

Ash started whispering in her ear, teasing her with things werewolves did until he felt her face blush and her body weaken. Then he chuckled and kissed her. "You'll have to wait and see if any of that is true though." He looked up at the trees as if he were an innocent pup and not some visions, teasing wolf-beast. He thought about what was going to happen between Andrew and Praxis and knew one thing for sure. He'd have to talk about that with the vampire tonight. He needed to know how much blood he was taking from her and how she would be fed. The sleeping, truthfully, would be good for her. And, from what Desdemona told him, she replenished blood in her sleep. That would work out good in the end, but still. The baby was to be worried about. He started to wonder if she should get a nurse from her land.

Praxis shook her head slightly and left the peaches be. She didn't want any at the moment anyway. Or, at least she thought she didn't. A strong jab hit her insides and made her lurch forward just slightly. She blinked a few times before another came and she put her hand on her stomach. She swallowed hard, trying to act as if everything was fine. Before Andrew was able, at least she hoped, too much, she reached forward and grabbed a peach. Inside her head she heard a coo like sound that made her eyes widen. She'd have to tell Andrew about it later. She ate the peach and instantly felt better. In fact, she felt like she was in a world of bliss for no reason. It took her a few moments, and a few peach slices, until she realized it was because the baby, even though it wasn't really formed as far as she knew, already had a pick on what kind of food it liked. Peaches seemed to be it for today.

"Daddy Daddy come fly with us! Mommy too!" Dreama grinned and didn't notice Praxis move oddly because she had been drinking milk, which now made a line over her upper lip. Cyprus had been busy looking at the house elves coming in and bringing more food where needed or pouring drinks. He had never seen one before coming here. When Dreama spoke he turned to Andrew and smiled, nodding his approval of the choice and hoping he'd agree.

"We can't." Andrew said simply. "I'm sorry, but mommy isn't allowed to fly until the baby comes. You're both going to have a little brother or sister, and once it comes mommy will be able to fly with you again." He wasn't sure they would understand, but it was the best Andrew could do. He still hadn't honed in all of his fatherly abilities yet, that was for sure. "But you can fly. If you like, you can explore the land as long as you can still see us. The cold would be good for you anyway, it is going to be like us after all. Either hot enough to need the cool or cold enough to not feel it," The last few bits of his words were aimed at his love, whom he noticed was acting a little... odd. he wasn't sure what was going on, but one minute she clutched her stomach and Andrew braced himself. If need be he'd go and smash that orb. The next minute she was eating peaches as if they were going out of style, with wide eyes that amused him.Andrew wasn't sure whether to be worried or amused, but when she finally calmed and seemed normal he just smiled gently and looked at his nearly empty plate but for a single slice of peach. he lifted it and let his fangs elongate and slide gently into the fruit so that he could suck the juice from it. Once he'd finished that he ate the skin and eyed the children. "Dreama, easy on the kiwi's darling. You don't want to get sick." As he said this Andrew's thoughts went to Greece. Perhaps they'd be better off bringing in someone to care for the children while they finished their schooling. It was only a few months away anyway. And he couldn't bare to see the children go... not now that they were here. they were much more important to him than school. Then he thought about Desdemona. After everything Andrew and she had been though, he knew she would help him. But he wasn't sure he wanted to ask. He had been in love with her at one time in his life, had given her everything, and had asked for her hand in marriage. She had of course denied and he understood the reason's why, but he remained loyal to her. Praxis did not know if their past, and as far as he felt, she didn't need to. However, if she ever asked he would be honest with her. Andrew let his thoughts drift gently away as he looked on his family yet again. He smiled gently, loving each of them dearly. Desdemona had begged him to find love elsewhere, and he had. A deep love at that.

Victoire listened intently. Too intently. Soon a deep red blush tinted her cheeks and her entire body quivered. she could see he was finding entertainment as he not only embarrassed her with thoughts, but weakened her very being with them. she accepted his kiss, her eyes closing for the moments their lips were connected. She blushed a little deeper as he spoke again and a whole new feeling welled up inside her as he looked up into the canopies of the trees. "We should head back," she suggested. She was bitterly cold by now, and they were sure to wonder where they had gone. "Classes start up again in two days, so we should probably find out what their plans are about school..."

Praxis saw how sad the children looked and couldn't help but smile as she turned and looked at Andrew. "I could always fly on a broom, i'm not that bad at it. Come now, look at their faces, do you really want to say no to them?" Dreama and Cyprus pouted as they looked up at Andrew with big, sad eyes. Praxis was sure they'd win him over, it would only take so much for his will to be bent by them. Suddenly Praxis jumped, surprised. Dreama had moved so that her head was against Praxis' stomach.

"Does Mommy have something inside like Lady Penelope does? Is she going to get real big and take care of all the kids back home?" Dreama looked up hopeful.

Praxis smiled at her and brushed her curled hair back, letting her stay against her stomach. "Yes I do, and I will end up looking like Penelope but not for a little while." She frowned slightly though. "Dreama, if you stay here with us you wont be with the other children and I wont be watching them."

"Huh? Why not Momma?"

"Because this is my home. It can be yours too if you want to stay." She smiled softly. Dreama looked around.

"But but Momma Princess! Everyone needs Momma. Momma has to go home." Praxis pulls Dreama onto her lap and wrapped her arms around her.

"Dreama, darling, I am home. Here with your Daddy, this is my home." Dreama looked over at Andrew, confused. She just couldn't understand what they were saying.

"Lets go." he got up and took her with him. When he was standing he let her walk on her own but kept an arm wrapped around her so the cold couldn't chill her to the bone. Once they were near the house he was directed by some house elves to wait in the den for the meals to be finished. Food was brought to him and he leaned against the wall as he ate some of the raw meat left for him. Fruits and things, and cooked meat, were brought for her.

Andrew was about to give in against his better judgment, but the events that occurred made him stop. He let Praxis try explaining things, but when he realized it was failing he stood from the table and bent to a knee beside Praxis. He took Dreama's hands gently and spoke so softly it surprised even him. "Honey, mommy's got duties here as well. Things work a bit differently in this world. Here the daddy's take care of the mommy's and the children. Lady Penelope takes care of all the children back in Greece. Here, a family takes care of their own children. We will take care of you and Cyprus," by this time Cyprus had hopped down and come around the table. Andrew put an arm around him and pulled him close. "Here you'll get more love and attention fro us that would be possible in Greece. this is my home, mommy's home... and your home if you want to stay with us." Andrew paused for a few moments, unsure how to words things. "We must stay here, mommy and I. We have duties to fulfill here. Back where you came from, they'll find another to lead and take care of them... but," and now he looked back up to Praxis, unsure if he really wanted to say this but he knew it was truly up to her. "Mommy has to choose where she'll be. Mommy is a princess in two worlds and she must choose which she'll stay in. The rules will be different here than in Greece, as is society." He hoped they understood him, but he was having such a hard time explaining things... oh where was Desdemona when he needed her...

Victoire walked with him, and waited with him, not eating much. She wasn't entirely hungry, but she ate a few things so that she wouldn't look as though she were starving herself. She'd felt rather full for days now, and had no clue why. But for now she wasn't really worried about it, more focused on Ash and Andrew and Praxis than anything else. She figured that was the reason she wasn't hungry often, and for now she'd go with that. Finally the food was taken and Victoire just sat patiently. she stood respectfully when the family entered the room, and slipped out of the way again, her hands resting in front of her.

"Come, they've returned and mommy needs to be checked." Andrew wasn't sure he could explain things any better than he had just tried, and for now he couldn't worry about that. He wanted to be sure everything would be alright with the baby and Praxis. He let out a deep sigh, feeling the stress begin to get to him. He pushed it aside as he always did and led them all into the room, letting Praxis walk on her own this time but not leaving her side, as he'd promised this morning. "You could have come eaten with us, I'm sorry they didn't bring you in."

Praxis was actually rather surprised by Andrew's words herself. He was right though, she had to stop ignoring her choice. It was about time she decided where she was going to stay and what she was going to do, but that wasn't going to happen for a little while. Not until she though it through carefully and planned everything out. She knew if she didn't decide soon, though, they were going to get a visitor that she would rather not get at the moment. Or ever. She looked at her children as they walked. Dreama floated beside her, still looking confused and asking questions, but Cyprus-who had been educated more- seemed to understand. He signed against Andrew's hand as they walked.

'I want to stay here with Mother, Father, and Sister. I want to stay where it is safe.' He didn't explain what that meant, but he didn't give Andrew a chance to ask either as his slightly larger wings pushed him up and he floated behind them, watching Dreama as an older brother should. When they entered the other room the two children went to play around the fire together, laying and smiling ignorant to the rest of the room.

"It doesn't matter. Is it out?" He looked at Andrew head on and nodded as he explained. He looked at Praxis and noticed she had paled slightly and that her eyes were a bit duller than before, the white in them slightly pinking. He looked at Andrew and walked over to him, taking his arm. "I have to steal your vampire for a minute." Praxis looked reluctant, almost like she was going to be in tears, but eventually nodded and turned away to watch the children as Ash took Andrew. "Tell me what your race does to claim a mate." very blunt and to the point but this was important.

As Andrew left the room Victoire too noticed Praxis' appearance. "Are you alright?" she asked, coming out of the shadow's a little. She looked entirely curious and, though she didn't know them very well, truly concerned. She was too, whether or not she knew them Victoire had a habit of caring too much about... well the entire world.

"Yes, it's out. We had no problems with it." He gave a stiff nod, not really wanting to leave Praxis. He had been thinking as they walked. Perhaps she could stay with them and still make scheduled visits to Greece to instruct her people, leaving someone in charge to fulfill her orders while she was not there. He wanted to talk to her about it, but he would have to do that later. Andrew walked down the hall with Ash, out of earshot of the room. "Actually, I've been meaning to talk to you about that too..." he said, running a hand through his thick hair. He let out a sigh. "Well, I've got to put her to sleep essentially. For exactly seven days. To get her to eat I've basically got to feed her every day, and I have to do it myself or it won't work the way it's supposed to... Basically she goes into and almost zombie like state each time she's fed. At precisely midnight, by the stars, not by the clocks, I've got to feed from her, I've only got to take about half a cup each time. Once from each wrist, once from each side of her neck, once from each hip, once from her heart directly. The seventh night I'll feed from her heart. Then I've got to feed her my blood, but only enough for it to coarse in her veins. I can't change her. While this last feeding/exchange is being done, I'll need Desdemona to recite a spell, leaving my mark on her for eternity. She'll live longer than a human and once she's outlived her life she'll continue living until I die. Once I die then she'll die and be buried with me." While he explained Andrew paced. His mind was running in so many directions it wasn't even funny. "If need be, I can wait for the baby's birth to do that. While she's in her sleeping state, if another vampire feeds on her at all she could die... once it begins it only ends two ways, she becomes mine for eternity... or she dies." Andrew finally stopped pacing, leaning against the wall. He wasn't looking at Ash, he was too lost in his thoughts right now. However, he did listen to him

Praxis smiled up weakly at Victoire. "That bad huh? I've been trying but I guess I can't hold back everything." She chuckled weakly, almost as if it hurt. It was a dramatic change from before but the den was dark, she thought she could slip a little and it wouldn't go noticed. She appeared to be very wrong. Moving with a slight groan, she laid back on the couch but kept her face toward the children, warning them sternly if they got too close to the fire. Eventually she looked at Victoire and motioned for the girl to move to her. "Look at something for me will you? I fear showing the males." When the Veela, her sister species, her sister, agreed Praxis moved a blanket that was on the arm of the chair around her waist and pulled her dress up, cursing it for being worn at the moment, until her stomach was uncovered. There, just below where her ribs ended was a small mound and a purplish pale marking like a bruise. "What do you think it is? It's been hurting since I started eating..." she ran her fingers over it. It was exactly where that pain had been when she had looked away from the peaches.

Ash nodded a few times and listened until he was done. Vampires sure wanted to make sure things were final. "Well... she'll already live longer than any human...hell she'll outlive you if she keeps the same life span as her mother...at least from what Desdemona told me." He watched Andrew and though about it a little bit. "If you do this while she's pregnant you'll have to feed her five times a day and it can't be the same thing... the sleep would do her some good...she replenishes her blood as she sleeps so a cup full wouldn't kill her... I don't know how the baby would react to the blood. Depending on when you do it or not it might activate the vampiric genes it'll get from you during its development." Right now he was just going over things in his head. He turned toward him. "I doubt we'd have any problem with other vampires."

Andrew gave a very short, almost bitter chuckle. "You don't know my brother..." and that was all he said on the matter. Ash knew nothing of Micajah and Andrew, nothing of Andrew's past really. "Other Vampires will smell her once it starts, they'll smell the whole thing, not to mention the fact that she already has a strong smell. Your a werewolf, you know what I'm talking about. Her blood is so satisfying, with all those wounds on her the seventh night will be the hardest... but it can be done. I'd sooner kill my brother than let a single soul hurt that woman intentionally... or take her from me." Andrew's eyes were dark, anything but kind. Whenever he left Praxis' side, he lost the glimmer instantly. The silver in his pupils swam almost dangerously, but Andrew was not threatening to Ash, and he knew it. He wasn't trying to be either, he was simply being what he'd become since Praxis' absence. "If you think it best to do it while she's pregnant I will." He waited for a moment then moved to walk back down the hall to the girls. By the time he'd made it their Victoire and Praxis' exchange was done and the blanket was back in its place again so Andrew saw nothing. "How are you feeling, love?" he asked her gently, standing in front of her.

Victoire did as she was asked. She saw the mark and furrowed her brows. "Please don't get angry with me," she said gently as she carefully ran her finger over it. "I'm not sure what it is, but I know that the development of a vampire is much quicker than that of a human. I don't know about your race completely, but I know that if any of that baby if vampire its fangs are among the first few things to begin growing. It could have tried to feed on you..." she looked up at Praxis, thinking aloud. "Then again if you did something to anger it, it could have just lashed out at you as well... You really should ask Ash..." She didn't try to force it on her, but she threw the suggestion out there. They heard Andrew coming and as soon as Praxis' dress was down again the girls quickly folded the blanket and tossed it back in place seconds before they appeared.

Praxis nodded and ran her fingers over the bump. She knew the child couldn't be developing as fast as a vampire child, she knew how fast that would be. And there wasn't any other sign of her being pregnant yet. She wasn't gaining the pregnancy weight just yet. When she heard Andrew she fixed herself and smiled up at her lover. She held out her arms for him, wishing he would either sit with her or take her or something. She just wanted him close. Without looking at him, however, she turned to Ash and answered Andrew's question. "I think my rib is broken again."

Ash was kneeling on the side of the cough within seconds. "Show me where and how do you know." As she put her hand over the spot and explained what happened Ash nodded gravely. Her rib was broken alright. He cursed and rummaged through his pocket for the vile before remembering Andrew had it. "Go get the potion i gave you and quick before her rib gets worse." When Andrew returned Ash took some on a cloth and instructed her to cover herself with the blanket and hold it to herself. As she did he hovered his hand over her and it started to glow white. He tried to heal her best he could but the baby was mad. He was starting to fear what the child would do once it started to get bigger.

Though he had not claimed her, Andrew felt as though she was his already. He couldn't help the feeling of contempt though as she spoke to Ash. She had said nothing to him about it, and while Andrew didn't feel angry, he felt a little betrayed by that. He sat beside her though, not showing any feelings at all. He was blank for now, not entirely unlike him, and once Ash instructed him to get the vile Andrew moved to do so without a word. He returned, handed the vile over, and sat back down beside Praxis. He was worried about her, yes, but he was feeling a little distant. A lot had changed in the months that she had disappeared and Andrew felt that above all she should be completely honest with him always. Sure he hadn't told her about the clot, but that was for her, and the baby's, own good. Keeping this from him didn't help him one bit. he let Ash do whatever he had to for now, and took to watching the children. "Careful, Dreama. You don't want to get burned." He He had no intentions of saying anything to Praxis, as it could stress her out and even though he was ultimately hurt, he didn't want that.

Victoire felt Andrew get tense, and slipped out of the way again. If a fight ensued she did not want to be in the way, it would only make things worse. She stayed within reach though, in case Ash needed her to do anything.

Praxis could feel Andrew's disappointment and wanted to say something. He had moved away from her awaiting arms. She had said that to both he and Ash but Ash was the one that would heal her and she didn't need Andrew to jump to conclusions. Not about the rib, not about this. For some reason she was extra sensitive today and her eyes started to water up like she might cry when he moved away and just sat down. As she was healed she whimpered slightly. It wasn't until Ash was done and Andrew still didn't speak that she felt like her soul, her heart, was being pulled into a void. She gave out a sharp cry as her hands flew to her stomach. Everyone in the room, including Dreama and Cyprus, seemed to freeze and turn to her. She started sobbing but no tears came from her eyes. She couldn't cry. If someone touched her stomach they would feel sharp jabs cutting into her. The baby didn't even have a solid mass yet! But some how it was attacking her from the inside out and in all truth, it must have been more tied to her emotions than she knew for it was doing exactly what Andrew did to her by ignoring her. It was the same feeling, only she couldn't hold in the pain from the baby like she could from Andrew.

Ash healed the rib but that was the least of their troubles. She started screaming out in pain and he didn't know what was going on. He looked to Victoire but she didn't seem to have a clue. "What is it, girl come for the young tell us what it is!" He motioned for Victoire to go by the children and keep them from Praxis somehow. He wasn't sure what to do.

Victoire moved to the children ushering them from the room though they protested. "Mommy's going to be okay," she assured them, giving Ash a helpless look. Once she had them secured in the next room with more than a few house elves, she came back. "Lift that dress," she told Ash. She had delved into this type of thing before, her aspiration to be a dragon tamer and a healer meant she had to know about many species. Once the dress was out of the way again, Victoire laid a gentle hand on the stomach. "You, quit being angry, and you need to calm down." She spoke to Andrew first, then to Praxis. "Andrew, you're being a git," she said, her temper rising a bit. She normally kept herself extremely calm, but in this situation she was having a hard time doing so. Her skin prickled as if it wanted to change so she could claw out Andrew's eyes for being an idiot, but she fought it off like she always had. She laid her other hand on Praxis' head. she closed her eyes and thought for a few moments, mumbling a few words as she did so. She stopped when she realized it only worked a little. She was too worked up. "Andrew Higgins, I swear to Merlin if you don't get over your jealousy you're going to kill this baby, and possibly Praxis." Her voice dripped with venom, a kind she'd only used once when she came at Ash, and she gave him a look to scare off a centaur. "If you don't put it aside right this instant and make her feel better, so help me, I'll slice you to bits."

Andrew said nothing for a moment. He sighed. "I'm sorry," he told Praxis. Merlin he hated doing this in front of everyone... Showing weakness. But truthfully, Victoire made him uneasy when she went from the calm, meek little with to the Veela within her. "Look, I'm wrong. I'm sorry, please forgive me?" The look in Andrew's eyes begged for forgiveness and promised her he'd do better. He wrapped his arms around her, laying a hand on her stomach. "Please calm down, love. I'm not going anywhere... it hurt that you kept it from me, but I understand. I'm sorry," It was all he could say. He tried hard to calm her, hoping she'd calm down. When Victoire spoke, Andrew only felt worse about it. He'd almost caused her to lose their child...

With Andrew's help, Victoire was able to mutter more words of healing, calming the baby down after a few moments. She remained sitting there, both hands on either side of Andrew's, on her stomach, speaking to the baby in another language. She continued with this until Praxis calmed down herself. She had to be calm for the baby to be calm. "He wasn't trying to attack you," she told Praxis, her eyes closed. "It was trying to attack Andrew..."

That wasn't the last thing she wanted to hear but it was for within moments of herself and the child calming down she passed out from the pain and the knowledge that her baby would be okay now. She lived only for that baby now. That baby and Andrew, of course. She was mad at Victoire, but only slightly. Praxis was use to Andrew getting like this and being upset. She was use to getting hurt because of it. She didn't mind it that much any more...even if it still hurt. As she slipped from consciousness she noticed something she hadn't before. In her mind there was no longer just her conscious. There was another there beside it. her baby was there, thinking with her and feeling with her. That made her feel horrible. She let Andrew and everyone work her up so much that within moments she was hurting her baby. It was all her fault. In side her mind she started to cry. Her body however shed no tears.

"If you two don't mind, I'm going to take her to bed for a while. I need to talk with her when she wakes up. Alone." He was completely emotionless as he spoke to them. He gave Ash a respectful nod as he lifted Praxis off the couch. "I'll send for you should anything happen. If you leave, please tell me or leave her here so I can get in contact with you." Andrew eyed Victoire's necklace for a second, he was almost sure it was a connection between the two of them, something to let Ash know what was going on with her whether or not she knew it. however, he could be wrong. Just in case he checked his pocket to be sure the orb was there. "If you don't want to leave her I still have that orb. I'll drop it should anything happen." He left no room for either of them to speak as he left the room. Only his voice could be heard from down the hall, speaking to a house elf. "Wait about five minutes and fetch the children. They're very distraught and will want to know she's alright." Then he was out of earshot to them, closing the bedroom door finally. He laid down his love and tears spilled from his silent form. He did not sob, did not shake, but tears flowed freely from his empty eyes as he lay on the bed beside her. He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her against him, and whispered things to her as she slept. "I'm sorry... both of you. I won't let my feelings get in the way again, I hope you both can forgive me..." he whispered to her hear, his hand resting gently on her stomach. "I never meant for this to happen... it won't happen again, I swear to you both..." Andrew cried silently as she slept, never taking his hand from her or leaving her side for any reason whatsoever.

Victoire let out a breath as they left the room. She looked up at Ash. "That could have been bad... Vampire children, from the moment they are conceived, begin feeding on their mother's feelings. If she hurts, the baby hurts. I think it was more Praxis' race that triggered its temper though. And when the baby knew she hurt because of Andrew, it wanted to hurt Andrew..." She shook her head a little. "If he doesn't get himself under control they're either going to lose the baby, or it'll kill her once it's born, in attempt to kill him..." She felt so bad for Praxis at this moment. "Looks like I'm going to have to work on a wish that will keep both her and the baby protected," she said calmly. She had no qualms with it, she would do what she could. "Are you alright?" she finally asked him as he was just standing there.

Praxis felt like she was drowning. She cried so hard as she hid her face in her hands. This was all in her mind of course but she was only half aware of that. Within moments she heard something wailing and looked up. There, laying a few feet from her was a bundle that was wiggling, wailing. She got up and, drying her eyes, picked it up. There, now laying in her arms, was a baby. Her baby. Her tears came again, but they were happy tears. She sat down and began rocking the baby in her arms. "Shh Shh...its okay...shhh" the baby kept crying until at last she sung for it. Slowly it began to coo and giggle, making Praxis beam. If only Andrew could see...he'd be happy too... She could feel his silent tears and wanted so despritly to open her eyes, but she didn't want to leave the baby.

In reality her body started to glow. She wasn't controling it really, it was her emotions and her want of him to see that was controling it. Feathers started to appear along her hairline until at last her crown was re-created. The largest feather curled and pressed against his forehead, pulling him into her mind.

When Andrew appeared she smiled and stood up, holding the baby in her arms. She didn't say anything but motioned for him to come see what a wonderful bundle they had created. The child was very pale, nearly as pale as the white blanket around it, and had silver tinted hazel eyes with blood stained brown hair. As it cooed, the baby showed it's little vampire fangs.

"Don't use your wish on them. The child will be fine...we'll have to get one of Praxis' own kind here to monitor her though. I don't know enough about her race. None of us do, we only just found out she isn't a harpy." He ran his hand through his hair and sighed. The fur that lined his vest/jacket puffed up as he put it back on. "The baby will never kill her. It'll come close at birth, that I'm sure either way, but it wont kill her. As for Andrew changing, fat chance. He doesn't even understand fully whats going on." He looked at the door then her. "Come on, I need more ingredients. I mean it this time." He held out his hand for her and once she took it they walked outside, apperiating on the spot.
