Sirius stayed out of his way for a while until finally, SMACK, he was thrown against the wall and slid down in a bloody mess. Remus always got him good at least once but Sirius could deal. If he wasn't there then Lupin was bound to break out and go run around, and that wasn't going to happen. He spent the rest of the night avoiding his friend as well as he could, and failing most of the time.

Remus, if you could even call him that by now, chased Sirius around as though er were his last meal. A toss here and a slice there left the poor dog a wounded mess in no time. Finally he stopped chasing him, again accepting the dogs presence. He growled deeply, as if to warn him to stay away, and went to trying to take the door out. As Sirius tried to stop him it so began again, chasing the poor dog around like nothing more than a toy that angered him and got in the way. Remus didn't have time to escape, the sun was rising now and he crumpled to the floor. He remained there, a large viscous creature, until almost noon when he finally began to look like himself again. His body shook from the torment of the past three days and Remus didn't stir until almost ten o'clock that night. He finally moved, enough to pull the tattered blanket his friend had lain across him off. He puled himself to the bed at one side of the room and from under it he puled out a cloak, which he slid on. He pulled himself up onto the bed, still shaking slightly. "Thank you," he said to Sirius, same as he always did. "I dunno what I would do without you Sirius..."
